Board changes
The Mission Marketing Group plc ("themission", "the Company" or "the Group", AIM: TMMG), the technology-embraced marketing communications and advertising group, announces two Board changes.
Mike Rose, until recently CEO of Chapter, the Midlands-based Agency acquired by themission in November 2015, has moved into the role of Chairman of the Agency. Acknowledging his reduced time commitment, Mike has decided to step down from the Board and, at a meeting of the Board earlier today, the Board has accepted his resignation with effect from today.
At that same meeting, the Board approved the appointment to the Board, with immediate effect, of Barry Cook, one of the four founding directors of krow Communications ("krow"), acquired on 10 April 2018. Krow, which was founded in 2005, is ranked 16(th) in Nielsen's UK creative agency listing and was recently awarded the prestigious IPA Gold Effectiveness Award for its creative work with DFS.
Barry Cook currently holds 156,667 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.2 per cent. of the issued share capital. Save as set out below, there are no other disclosures required in relation to Rule 17 or paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.
Commenting on the Board changes, David Morgan, Chairman, said "krow has been a great acquisition for us, strengthening both our London presence and also our creative reputation. At the same time, we have helped krow move up two places in the rankings; I am delighted to welcome Barry to the Board. I would also like to thank Mike Rose for his contribution to the Board over the years and look forward to his continuing contribution to Chapter"
