30 September seems to be the date on which we should receive our money for shares tendered.
This is further away than I had hoped but it is a comfort to see the date fixed.

Tender offer and notice of general meeting out today

What's happened to the tender offer circular and general meeting notice? On 18th June publication was "in due course" and on 20th June it was "shortly", but no sign yet.

You mean after the circular and general meeting

The capital reduction has to be confirmed by the High Court first.

Surely we should be getting the circular next week. It'll be 3 weeks on Thursday since they announced the buyback (and presumably they had THAL's agreement before then). How long does it take to knock up a boiler plate circular?

With any luck we could have the cash by the end of the month.

Are we not expecting to receive 31.33p per share within a few weeks ?
If we do, I will make a turn of 8.8% on the shares I bought in March which is all a Johnnie-Come-Lately can reasonably hope for.
To pay for my LSR shares I sold shares in Thalassa. Mr Soukup's proceedings here do not leave a good impression and I don't think I will be re-investing in THAL in the near future.

Why didnt DS alter Thal offer, maybe they didnt have the cash or credit line to pay out pre getting LSR cash

Thal paper is only worth what you can sell it for. It's such an illiquid stock that you may struggle to get any price even from the market maker should a load of lsr shareholders all decide to sell at the same time, or your get such a low price from a massive spread that the 31.5p would look good.

Decent bit of two way trade around 30p

How much did Thalassa pay for their shares?

Legal and professional (885) (51) (186)
So the crusade has cost us ~700k - wind up costs = ~500k = 0.6p share plus time value
Lot less than could have been but another example of the cost of failing to compromise

So 31.33p. Slightly higher than I expected (31p) but decent return over 6 months...

That will do nicely. Could have been higher and sooner, but in the circumstances.....

If there is value within LSR's listing, REIT status & tax losses why aren't the LSR board monetising it?

Imagine if you want to keep up the illusion that the offer was for LSRs hidden value, rather than a cash grab, you have to see it through without the cash. Will know soon what DS has cost us LSR holders. In the mean time probably best to take heed of Napoleons words.

Any tax experts here? I would have thought that there would be some sort of value in the shell due to the tax loss carry forwards that the entity holds. The only issue is that the tax losses are only useful if the company remains a REIT. So it does certainly make sense to me that the company have agreed to keep three properties on the books to retain the REIT listing, if that is where Soukup sees the value.

A vehicle to use as a cash shell to reverse a larger private company into ..I rather think trying to replicate existing model that so comprehensively failed would not be on the agenda. But leap if faith currently if you don't take the cash...but DS highly motivated to accrete value with listing.

Well good luck to him using LSR as a vehicle ploughing into the market hoovering up stock in today's market using the remaining unattractive lots left in the portfolio as ballast

It appears the company are retaining sufficient properties to maintain REIT status which might be a condition of THAL support ? Pretty sure DS will have done his homework on what can and can't be done with REIT listing and tax position.

Good news today. Well done all, it looks like you might still get 30p. Patience rewarded.
