Grant of SAYE Options and Notification of transactions by Directors
The Gym Group plc ("the Company" or "TGG") is pleased to announce that it has launched the 2020 Save As You Earn Scheme (the "SAYE" Scheme) for all eligible employees.
Eligible employees were invited to subscribe for options ("Options") over the Company's ordinary shares of 0.01 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") which have been granted at an exercise price of GBP1.08 per Ordinary Share in accordance with the terms of the SAYE Scheme. The Options were issued on 21 October 2020 and will normally be exercisable from 1 December 2023 for six months.
130 employees have elected to participate in the 2020 SAYE Scheme and as a result Options over a total of 694,940 Ordinary Shares have been granted in respect of the 2020 SAYE Scheme, representing 0.42% of the Company's issued share capital.
The following Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMRs") have chosen to participate in the 2020 SAYE Scheme:

In addition, in order to participate in the 2020 SAYE Scheme, Mark George has elected to cancel his participation in the 2019 SAYE Scheme, resulting in the lapse of the option originally granted to him on 24 October 2019 with an exercise price of GBP2.02 per Ordinary Share. The option would normally have become exercisable on 1 December 2022 over 8,910 Ordinary Shares.
