07/8/2017 08:09 | Up 9%! I'm in danger of moving into the blue here. I know it's illiquid, but what has moved this? Tipped somewhere? | runthejoules
02/8/2017 16:13 | On my watchlist. Interesting to see comments. Had a look a while back when price was >20p, and thought too expensive. Currently seems to be at bottom of trading range, but still not cheap, and I guess capital intensive build-out, but think Franco will continue to do well ... will keep an eye on, but don't see a major hurry to pull trigger ... | mnomis

12/7/2017 07:46 | Any thoughts on today? Was interested here but the outlook is a bit, well, waffly. Basically imo it could serve as an excuse for over and underperformance. | funkmasterp12
05/7/2017 12:27 | Topvest I agree. I think this is a screaming short. Restaurants valued at about £1.4 m each. 9p here we come | hybrasil
01/7/2017 08:26 | Yes, maybe you are correct. It's definitely appealing to the young. It wasn't packed in Bournemouth on a Friday evening though. Surely, you can't deny that the valuation is a bit crazy at £109m? It should be making £5-10m of profits to have that sort of valuation. 50 or so restaurants and break even ish profitability doesn't merit that valuation at all. Barriers to entry are also rather low. Needs at least 2 years of growth to grow into its existing share price. Any disappointment and the shares will get hammered. | topvest
30/6/2017 22:38 | Always dangerous to judge the tastes of others by your own standards topvest. Where I live they're often queueing out of the door to get into Franco's. It's at a price point that makes it relatively recession proof too. | lomcovaks
30/6/2017 22:27 | Ridiculous valuation here. Visited a Franco Manca today. Busy but not impressed. Poor menu. Cheap. Food OK but nothing special. Wine and cappuccino in Duralex glasses..all rather odd. Might be hip and trendy for a while, but certainly not a rollout with staying power in my view. | topvest
06/6/2017 11:35 | more likely short term fears that terrorism will impact on London-centric eateries such as FUL | maiken
30/5/2017 22:50 | Apparently it's falling because of Pizza Express's weakness & CFO leaving, which is mad cos some of that is due to Franco Manca being better! | runthejoules
15/5/2017 09:30 | beefy 28 page report from hardman & co on FUL is up on research tree. i think it's free but don't quote me on it | lampran
06/5/2017 12:30 | Some numbers from an interview with David page in today's TimesAverage seats in a Franco manca is 75 and they get 300 covers a day which means 2100 a weekAverage spend £10 so that's 21,000 a week and £1092,000 per annumSo plug that into your spreadsheets | nfs

12/4/2017 14:10 | Visited one of their establishments recently, some comments: 1. layout good 2. service excellent 3. quality of food, IMO better than most the competition; you could clearly taste the good quality ingredients/toppings used. 4. drinks v reasonably priced 5. price/cost of a meal is very attractive Adding the above points together confirms that I am happy to hold and may well add more. | amencorner
04/4/2017 07:52 | My penny's worth view-operationally the trading update was solid, earnings growth set to continue, the number of Franco Manca sites to increase to 45 by 2018, +50%, throwing off plenty of net cash, but high CAPEX, management good in Mr.Page, however valuation full, 13x EBITDA near term. Long term future positive for the company, but valuation risk if we enter a consumer lead down turn. The share price has a muted, positive tone, could drift higher-limited upside. No position-just a "ghost gambler". | utsushi
02/4/2017 20:23 | Hopefully there is a trading update tomorrow. Last year was Monday the 4th. | paduardo
