Since getting my share certificate I wrote to the company asking if the have a dividend re-investment scheme. They do not!!!!!!!
Rob Wilkinson, the FD, appears to think that, in principal, it is a good idea but he wants to judge how much interest there is.
If anyone is interested can I suggest you write, or send an e-mail, to Rob Wilkinson letting him know your interest.

I had a small private company and Bordengate Insurance took it over when I retired. It kept 2 of my sons employed and then the 3rd one joined them later.

Things done totally different now from in my day.

It makes no difference how big the client they will not entertain doing any motor insurance. If only I had had the same outlook!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello knowsleyman. Who were you with? I too have been an insurance broker and follow the sector in a small way. I hold a few THB and agree with you - Galweybay.

Been watching for some time and decided yesterday to buy. Could only pick up 2,500 at 62p and that purchase clocked the price up.
As a retired Insurance Broker who did business with THB I think they will serve me well and certainly better than having the money in the bank.

sound business, not exciting but i think my investment is safe, but still would like to see a bit of recovery in price as it is deserved for their performance.

I added some based on change in dollar/sterling and firming insurance rates, plus results later this month. Because of its size seems to have been overlooked but JLT for instance is powering ahead on many of the same fundamentals.

I bought as resistant sector and defensive buy, cant see much downside and attractive that they raised money so should be well placed.

I agree. Bought a few today. Fundraising was encouraging as well in these markets. Bodes well.

Looks fairly well positioned post deal with stronger position in the UK plus the emerging insurance m,arkets Singapore/Asia, Brazil etc. Still dollar exposed though

Good to see THB making a move onto PWS International. Should reap dividends if the deal goes ahead. Problems are that the US cat scene has been a bit benign this autumn. Not sure of the extent this might be off set by the £/$ exchage rate.

Think they deal a lot in US wind catastrophe so may be worth a look as the season develops.

Results OK, but the PER has become too steep for me for now, so out for the time being.
