Share Buy-Back

The board of Thalassa announces that on 2 December 2020 the Company purchased 1,327,016 of its ordinary shares at a price of 65 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury and in total there are now 12,906,521 ordinary shares in treasury. This purchase was made in accordance with the Company's Articles of Association and with a board authority dated 5 March 2019 to buy back up to GBP6,000,000 of the Company's shares.

As at the date hereof, the Company has purchased 4,994,274 ordinary shares under this authority for a total cost of GBP3,057,178.22 at an average price of 61 pence per share. The average purchase price of the total number of shares held in treasury, 12,906,521 shares, is 67 pence per share for a cost of GBP8,631,425.

The Company advises that, following this purchase and further to the Share Redemption and Return of Capital announced by the Company on 28 September 2020, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is 20,852,306 shares being the only securities in issue and admitted to the standard listing segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority (the "Official List") and to trading on London Stock Exchange plc's main market ("Main Market") for listed securities . The total number of shares with voting rights is now 7,945,785 (excluding the 12,906,521 shares held in treasury) carrying one vote each. This figure represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company.
