13/4/2017 19:08 | Wrighty46, You should not abandon your holding in TPL !. Based on the progress made in the last few months, I see a little light at the end of the tunnel. Try to contact TD Direct - Explain your predicament to the welcome team - and hopefully the guy at the other end will help, given the circumstances. This episode is quite depressing and no fault of UK investors and I am disappointed that Tethys failed to consult them. Goodwill matters !!. | hguess16
13/4/2017 16:56 | Just getting certificates takes 6 weeks so heaven knows how long it will take in total to get the shares added to an ISA with TD. | casual47
13/4/2017 16:44 | If it takes 6+ weeks to transfer from ISA to ISA then perhaps you may have to wait for your current broker to first request certificates upon delisting and then approach TD/AJBell/HL to get the certificates added on their side within an ISA. I don't think you can transfer UK listed shares if during the transfer window they will get delisted? | casual47
13/4/2017 16:40 | Hguess, I think I probably need to give them another ring, as their email response was a bit confusing. I think I can hold them in a trading account but they waffled on about timescales and kept contradicting their previous sentence. Not to fussed as these are either for the bin or a massive turnaround in the next 18 months or so. Just a shame I don't think I am going to be able to protect them in an isa should they turn things around. | wrighty46
13/4/2017 16:27 | Wrighty46, I am surprised !. Some on this BB have been in touch with TD and they have offered a positive response. I am with TD Direct and they have told me that I am able to deal on both the TSX and LSE. Brokers who trade on both Xchnges would only be too eager to help as they get your business !. I will send TD a note and see what their response is ! | hguess16
13/4/2017 15:53 | H guess I have been in touch with td direct and hl neither are able to help. | wrighty46
13/4/2017 15:37 | Stephen Loo, Why and when did you invest in Tethys ?. Who is your UK broker ?. Have you spoken to your UK broker about the delisting ?. Why not contact the following brokers who might help you. They are Hargreaves Lansdown AJ Bell You Invest TD Direct | hguess16
13/4/2017 14:55 | Stephen Loo - i suggest you read, carefully, the last two RNS releases and related documents on SEDAR and decide for yourself. If the delisting came as a surprise to you only today and you haven't been closely following the company then perhaps being invested in a share like TPL is not for you. | casual47
13/4/2017 14:49 | We are all shareholders of Tethys. I'm worried about delisting from London. Why do not new investors give money for Tethys development? Why were they attracted? What about sales and exports? There are many questions ... I would like to understand them. | stephen loo
13/4/2017 13:30 | Does anyone in here use AJ Bell (youinvest)? | casual47
13/4/2017 13:30 | I didn't read it that way but you could well be right casual and if so would drop the post. | dorset64
13/4/2017 13:25 | D64 - i presumed he was referring to the formal delisting notification which i also received today. If you are not an active trader or follow the forums (many don't) then i guess that would be a disturbing bit of news. | casual47
13/4/2017 13:19 | 1399Peter, Let's look ahead for future progress on the pre-selling of reserves possibilities and hope the review provides an answer on availability, pricing and acceptance of a deal by both parties !. | hguess16
13/4/2017 13:16 | Casual, I am not too impressed by Capita IRG Trustees response. It lacks any sense of user friendly service !. No wonder Capita is in the doghouse based on recent news !. | hguess16
13/4/2017 12:49 | "Capita IRG Trustees hereby give notice that with effect from close of business 28 April 2017 the Depository Interests will cease to be eligible to settle in CREST" | casual47
13/4/2017 12:35 | hguess Well those appeals shouldn't take too long to hear. Perhaps that could change things. If it goes in Tethys favour and If the others cough up in time. | 1399peter
13/4/2017 12:27 | Actually, just received the letter from barclays. The default, if the shareholder doesn't reply to the letter, is for Barclays to attempt to sell the shares on the 28th April. They give me two options: 1. Sell before delisting 2. Get certificates sent after delisting, which takes 6-8 weeks | casual47
13/4/2017 11:57 | Has anyone received formal notification from Barclays (ISA/SIPP)? I received a support team response to a question I asked but nothing formal. I guess the majority of PIs who have been asleep are yet to be awoken. We might see an share price crunch yet.... | casual47
13/4/2017 11:54 | 1399Peter, Thanks. That is interesting as it seems that he is aware of the concerns and I hope the real cost/benefits that we have been discussing here !. | hguess16
13/4/2017 11:41 | Response to email I got a nice quick reply from Bill. It's pretty much as is really. Obviously Tethys need to make cost savings as we know. The current intention is to continue to go forward with the delisting. They will continue to evaluate and if circumstances change they will make an announcement to that effect. | 1399peter
13/4/2017 11:33 | I do not understand much - why can not the strengths of all partners be used in such a crisis? And you need to conduct the courts? All shareholders are waiting for the same result. This result is the development of the company. | stephen loo
13/4/2017 11:29 | Good day to all! There are many problems now in Tethys. Can someone then understand what is happening? I have shares and recently received information. This information troubled Me. Stephen | stephen loo
13/4/2017 10:57 | "ten well shallow gas well drilling program" Seems pretty clear to me. | casual47
13/4/2017 10:54 | Casual, I should have also mentioned that the study by independent consultants was set up in order to provide an unbiased independent review in order to satisfy the seller ( Tethys) and the potential buyer ?. | hguess16 |
