Dodgy reporting, lots about the three tokens becoming two but almost silence about one token becoming two, which probably affects more people.

Start off loading these if you hold . Tesco is now one of the most expensive places to shop and poorest quality . They have recently hiked prices up ridiculously which they did the last time they were in trouble and it came out . Also they have now changed the club card rewards in another move angering it's customers . These will dive soon enough as they hit the skids because they are losing customers very quickly . Takes time for such moves to filter through into results but they definitely will and I for one no longer shop at their stores . Be warned

Carillion demonstrates a major failure of Corporate Governance....The Remuneration Committee chaired by Alison Horner demonstrated this to the full...

Roger Barker, head of corporate governance at the Institute of Directors, said the collapse of the company “suggests that effective governance was lacking at Carillion”. He added: “We must now consider if the board and shareholders have exercised appropriate oversight prior to the collapse.

Why would Tesco want to Retain Alison Horners services when she was part of the Corporate Governance Failure.. and allowed with her Committee Richard Howson to earn £1.5m in 2016, including £591,000 in bonuses. He continued to work for the firm until last autumn after stepping down as chief executive and is due to stay on the payroll, receiving his £660,000 salary and £28,000 benefits for another year, until October 2018.

What contribution does Alison if at all make to good Governance at Tesco .. When she failed to demonstyrate it at Carillion...

It's a committee RoseJS2 not a one person dictatorship, if the committee majority set the terms the chairman cannot overrule that decision, stop looking for scapegoats.

From the LSE Notice Board

Carillion Fall Out.. Tesco HR ChiefToday 16:27

The rediculous and over generous Pay for the senior executives of Carillion was overseen by:-Alison Horner

The chair of the remuneration committee, which sets the Carillion pay policy and made the over generous change to Senior Executive Remuneration, is the non-executive Carillion director Alison Horner, head of human resources at Tesco.

Tesco should be seriously considering replacing this individual and quickly..
