26/12/2017 16:58 | It seems to me a total waste of time and money opening my local Tesco today as I have never seen it so empty, most probably there were more staff in the shop than shoppers. When I first arrived I though it was closed as there were only a handful of car parked in the cars park. | loganair

26/12/2017 11:47 | Have a vote whether to buy a share. You will get a democratic result. ..........it does not help you as to which share. | alphorn
26/12/2017 11:31 | The UK is split down the middle on what "democracy" actually means. That's for sure. | wasntreallysurewhatwasgoingon
26/12/2017 11:05 | Three points: 1) Remember the source of this article - an extreme pro-Brexit tabloid. Hence the slanted headline. 2) Within the text there are numerous provisos (eg the world economy, a softer Brexit etc). 3) Most "doom mongers" took their lead from statements that Article 50 would be triggered within days of a pro-leave vote (even Jeremy Corbyn agreed with David Cameron on this point). That in itself would have had a much more dramatic effect on the UK than the long period of uncertainty. But then so many extra variables are creeping into the forecast... the country remains split down the middle on the general concept as well as being split in a hundred ways about what Brexit actually means, as does the rest of the world - not to mention the "experts"! | grahamburn
26/12/2017 10:47 | We were WRONG! Doom-mongers finally admit to being TOO gloomy on Brexit in major U-turn Please do your own research.... | qantas
