Just thought I would check in and see how tesco shares have performed since marmitegate 13th October price 204 today 175 Unilever share price 13th October 3520 today 4360, any ideas who won that one then?

Utter drivel, if you think the loss of Pot noodles, marmite and surf will take down Tesco then you are quite clearly in cloud cuckoo land.

I'd also point out that DL knows Unilever inside out and also knows where they are vulnerable, hence the reason he has decided to take them on.

There will be only one winner here and it won't be Unilever..........

SP likely to move soon as certainly where I live their express stores are packed to the rafters. Main store often busy as well. A 12 month punt surely a decent bet in anyone's book

I'll think that they recycle more than any also. I know that isn't the point.

No surprise really.

Tesco has largest share of the market 27-28%

I for one consistently turn up at the checkout counter having forgotten to take my recyclable bags out of the boot of the car.

Not bothered with news myself.

I think it's more likely that Amazon will depart. Especially if the taxman decides to get tough.

Hears it was like that in Ibiza Porto, I think someone mentioned it on the thread.
I had a friend who spent the last two nights in the airport rather than stay in the hotel...only place he and his family felt safe.
Got enough CNA Porto, had some of them a long time (pre Millpede) so as you can see I am well under water on them. Divi OK though so as long as it is held or increased ....
