02/9/2008 16:31 | Lol Fenseal, here's hoping :) A quick leap to 2p would do me just fine. This is an (apparently) asset rich business that makes no money. They are spending quite hefty sums on maintaining a listing, yet have pretty much no income. There's very little liquidity in the shares, no buys or sells most days. If they can liquidise their assets then shareholders will get a decent return, if not then kiss goodbye to the investment. They plan to delist on the 26th (according to an email received from my broker earlier today) following shareholder approval at a meeting on the 18th. | davius
02/9/2008 16:17 | Just got off the phone with my broker and asked about the trades today that look like buy's he told me they are trades from mm's to make it look like this could recover and get peeps sucked in....DYOR!! | fenseal3
02/9/2008 15:45 | davius in the past when a company does delist they have no chance of raising funds, after a while they admit defeat and go into administration...you would be the last person in line for any handouts....if you bought good luck!! | fenseal3
02/9/2008 15:44 | I need 6p per share to break even....... | asparks
02/9/2008 15:40 | fenseal3, the only thing going for the company is its assets. These don't cease to exist just because the shares are delisted from AIM. Delisting just means they won't be easily traded, but they aren't anway. Should the directors eventually get round to liquidating those assets the net return should be a lot higher than the £140K market cap at present. I'd be hopeful in the coming months (or perhaps years) that they can achieve returns of two or three pence a share. As I said, tuck away and see what happens. | davius
02/9/2008 15:29 | and shares will still be tradeable after delisting via the company who will attempt to match trades. I 've not lost all hope quite yet....... | asparks
02/9/2008 14:59 | might get bought out before then... Peter G only needs a majority | a6amt40
02/9/2008 14:56 | Davius how can you tuck away a share thats going to delist....thought about getting back in but the big thing that has stopped me is the fact they are going to DELIST!!!!! | fenseal3
02/9/2008 14:47 | I have 20K left from previous deals, so technically my average buy price is about 1p, but with what I made before this sum is totally irrelevant. Had considered buying 1m shares but they are so illiquid you just can't shift them, so dabbling with a little gambling money. | davius
02/9/2008 14:18 | do you hold any others? | asparks
02/9/2008 14:16 | Oh ffs asparks, I bought them, lol. Or at least the 40K at 0.35p. Tucked away for a while, I'll either lose £150 or make a grand, worth the gamble. | davius
02/9/2008 14:13 | I disagree - but there is NO way of being sure with a small cap like this with such a large spread and given the history | asparks
02/9/2008 14:07 | I do :) | davius
02/9/2008 14:06 | who says they are buys | asparks
02/9/2008 13:57 | Those trades at 0.35p are buys, but tiny amounts of money. Market cap is a mere £140K, can they really still have millions locked up in those investments? | davius
02/9/2008 13:30 | lots of sells - but rememeber for every sell there MUST be a buy. Someone wants these | asparks
28/8/2008 08:58 | "broke even between the two" yeah right. Did you turn the charts upside down? | asparks
27/8/2008 17:08 | Was in BFC and GTL - never ramped em though - and broke even between the two... | stegrego
27/8/2008 12:55 | 3rd on the percentage gainers toplist today ;-) | asparks
27/8/2008 09:00 | Stregego - coming from someone who ramped BFC and GTL, that's a bit rich! | asparks
27/8/2008 08:59 | its not over til the fat lady sings. I've been advised to hang in here | asparks
26/8/2008 21:27 | Yet another pile of pap that asparks bought and ramped... You should carry a serious health warning! | stegrego
26/8/2008 17:30 | Well, sore bottoms all round for the shareholders, quite astounding that the directors were paying themselves £285,000 p.a. for this situation - and to quote, "as I tried to tell you at a much higher price than this, whoever makes money out of TER it won't be the shareholders". | tiredoldbroker
26/8/2008 16:43 | that would be nice | asparks |
