This thread has been taken over and destroyed by people hell bent on finding anything negative they can, they are loners no life to speak of , probably hate the dark and still wet the bed, would run a mile if confronted, cowards, but all need some sort of help medically , it has taken them over , compulsive posting , so sad to see hope they don't top themselves when good news comes, would be a shame LOL.

Dow is off 850 points , expect more carnage tomorrow, lots of Red today, bad time to announce news so stock here bottom drawer until the Autumn.
A few weeks ago I said cash would be king and I closed a lot of stocks, will still hold all my stock here as its a gamble and I like a bet.

“At Mocana, our goal is to build the Internet of Trusted things. We know that securing IoT devices is very complex: it’s hard to update the firmware, private keys are often insecure, and many are built on vulnerable, open source code. At the end of the day, if you cannot trust the device, you cannot trust the data,” said Mocana’s CEO William Diotte. “That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our automated device enrollment process that combines Mocana TrustCenter with Intel SDO, reducing the onboarding and digital certificate provisioning time from 20 minutes to mere seconds.”

Good to see DA and its partner Intel on a platform together. Demonstrates the strength of the partnership and the shared commercial and revenue benefits. DA - right product, right time.

Look forward to 14 Aug 2019 to listen to the 60 mins presentation in this 1 trillion IoT device market in just 5 years.

How to reduce IoT device onboarding time to seconds and improve IoT security

Richard Kerslake, Intel and James Penney, Device Authority

Live online Aug 14 4:00 pm

About this webinar
Want to realize faster IoT device onboarding with additional security capabilities such as credential management and data security?

Today, a manual process exists where device ownership is transferred, activated in the field, configured on the network, and registered with the device owner in an IoT management platform. This time-intensive and costly process is fraught with security holes, as exemplified by recent large-scale attacks in which device manufacturers have shipped default credentials that were co-opted for botnet-style DNS attacks.

Imagine you’re going to install 10,000 smart light bulbs in a factory. How much time should you schedule? Before they can start streaming data, you need to key in each device identity, coordinate network credentials with IT, and register each device with the operational technology (OT) smart building control platform. If you guessed 20 minutes per bulb, you’re about right. For 10,000 bulbs, you’d need almost two years!

You can imagine that if you have thousands and thousands of devices in larger projects this leads to quite some costs.

Once you’ve onboarded the devices, what next?
Do you need help managing credentials such as PKI certificates or default passwords?
Do you have the correct level of data security and privacy for your use case?
Are you leveraging automation without human intervention for IoT devices out in the wild?

With Intel and Device Authority, the discussion will include:
• Secure by Design: An approach to address IoT security challenges
• Ownership transfer, zero-touch onboarding and registering of devices (in seconds!)
• Credential management
• Data security
• Automation

Ps. And 1% of the market? Really?

The top 3 players and 80%+ of the Pki angle.

The top players from the HSM angle.

The two biggest players from the chip angle.

And Microsoft.

And a whole host of internationl IT facilitator companies.

1%? I think not.

None of them are users, some of them are resellers. How many users of Keyscaler does DA have??? the rest is just noise.

These relationships are not new, all are priced in and have had no impact on DA’s ability to repay their debt or attract outside investment.

Jerseymike, indeed.

And carrying on with the maths, 1% of the market at 10c per device per year (1/10 of the figure Darron has used) and you get $1bn per annum which would value DA at about $40bn and Tern's share at about $20bn or roughly $85 per share or about £70.

All on far lower figures than targeted or suggested.

Now tell me again why poundsnotpence is silly.

Ha ha, rampers are put in full force. No one NEEDS DA...don't you get it? Are you that stupid? you are following in Mike's footsteps....in fact JerseyMike is a fitting name.An add-on product is just that, an ADD-ON, a nice to have....which part of that is hard for you to get?

Latest estimates (actually from one of Duxy's links) say 1 trillion devices in 5 years. That is 1,000,000,000,000. An absolutely enormous market. Room for plenty of players. 1% is 10 billion. That is 10,000,000,000. Itself a number beyond the comprehension of most. I am not selling. In my opinion the odds of success exceed the likelihood of failure. The maximum downside from here is 11.5p per share. The potential upside is exponentially larger. GLA.

If a behemoth like Intel needs a non-bluechip like DA (as apparently do Sectigo, Thales and Microsoft) then DA have something extraordinarily special.

And that's what counts.

Ignore the noise, the daily trades and the tsunami of slime we're regularly treated to.

I'm inclined to believe that Intel et al know what they are doing.

In 2018, at an investor show, Brian Smith (Tern) says as much in public.

his words:

"DA will be the component handling the authentication of their chip"

MR it is worth reflecting just on DA.

Never mind the other three world class disruptive investments.

DEVICE AUTHORITY - MARKET DOMINATION

DA's third most recent partnership "IdenTrust is used by 33.9% of all the websites, that is a SSL certificate authority market share of 49.7%".

DA support the top 3 certificate authorities with a 88.4% market share. WOW!

Worth reflecting on where the other DA revenues are currently coming from and I expect to continue to increase substantially to NET CASHFLOW POSITIVE IN 2019.

Note DA current confirmed Direct Customers over and above contracted partnerships for the last 30 months include:-

Atos
Deloitte
JLT
GlaxoSmithKline
Avis Budget Group
CDS - HP Company
LeasePlan
LoanScience
Societe Generale
BT

Worth reflecting on ONLY the confirmed prestigious world class partners of Device Authority (57% owned by TERN plc)

Amazon
AMD
AT&T
Axis Communications
Cognizant
Comodo (now Sectigo)
Cumulocity
Dell
Device Pilot
Digicert
EonTi
GE
Gemalto (SafeNet Inc)
Greenflow
IdenTrust (part of HID Global)
Infosys
Intel
InVMA
ITOS
JNR Management
Kalypso
Kepware
Lite Distribution
LTI
Machine Shop
Microsoft
Milestone
Multitech
Multos
Ncipher
NextgenID
PTC
redGear
Rovisys
Stratus
Supermicro
Symantec
SyroCon Consulting
Tech Mahindra
Teamviewer
Terra Solutions
Thales
Wipro
Wireless Logic

All this plus the three other disruptive investments and TERN plc has a current market valuation of less than £30 million (mid price) with over £2 million of cash in bank today.

It appears a number of these disruptive investments are currently valued for FREE.

I believe we are on the "cusp" of a major breakout before month end.

Mike, you said that 5 years ago....oh and ever month since.....it so boring and sudden price moments will not change the fact that DA is probably going to have to be impaired in the end.

One bit of good news and we'll be leaving this price range behind for good and hopefully some prolific 'contributers' with it.

All the indicators are good if you look at what the investee companies are up to.
