As they pump and dump, LTH here know that DA is up shut creek without paddles.A placing should cement that fact. The last one was done without telling shareholders how money was spent. The next one will precede a further loan to DA. When will it end....who knows....for sure it will end and end badly as DA is decimated slowly by the bigger players like Mocana, now trusted by over 100 million devices.

CMS proposes requiring hospitals to publish negotiated rates
Shelby Livingston, Alex Kacik and Susannah Luthi

The CMS issued several proposed rules on Monday that it hopes will make it easier for patients to understand the cost of a hospital service before accessing care.

Starting in January 2019, the CMS began requiring hospitals to publish their list of retail charges for healthcare services. The Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System proposed rule issued Monday would go a step further by requiring hospitals to not only publish their gross charges, or list prices, but also the negotiated price by specific payer and plan for a set of "shoppable" services. Those services could include anything that can be scheduled by a patient in advance, such as an MRI or hip replacement.

The article below was published yesterday (July 29).

I suspect beneficiaries will include companies such as FundamentalVR as comprehensive data comes available.

Extract 1:

"“We’re trying to change the paradigm here,” Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Verma said. “We’re trying to ensure we have a competitive free market where providers can compete on cost and quality and patients have the information they need to seek high-quality providers.”"

CMS proposes rule requiring providers to publish payer-negotiated healthcare rates
The new proposed rules also include enforcement tools for bad actors including monitoring, auditing, corrective action plans and monetary penalties of $300 a day

In the next step of the Trump Administration’s effort to inject more transparency into the costs consumers pay for their healthcare services, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has pitched a rule to force hospitals to publish their negotiated charges for common procedures and products.

Under the proposal, providers would be required to make public their “standard charges” which include their chargemaster prices, as well as the payer-specific negotiated rates. The proposed rules, which apply to the roughly 6,000 hospitals that take Medicare, would go into effect in January 2020 if finalized.

Tern could handle a lot of companies because of the foundation they set. Good product good management, they don't need to hold their hands. Just set a path and be there when the path gets steep.

I could see Tern acting for VC's to bring on their early prospects, develop them a year or two then bring them back in for later stage investment..

How many could tern handle ? I don't think the current stable will push them to their limits, especially the later stage investments.

I can still see Tern being a target, get Tern you have DA plus a decent stake in FVR which could be a cheaper way of buying up FVR if you then wanted control. Wyld and InVMA you just move on.
