To sum up on technicals it looks weak.

On fundamentals it is grossly overvalued.

Just saying.

Hope that helps.

The bullish wedge pattern has failed.

Could now see a very sharp drop of 40%.

I'm always baffled by the extent to which illiteracy appears to be such a common weakness for so many blue trolls. My Dad used to say it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I concur with JonC, it won't make any difference. They have their own solutions and Intel is trying to sell theirs and Device Authority is trying to push theirs. A joint solution will mean a faster on-boarding for devices with key rotation using keyscalar but make no mistake, it is not a requirement in any IOT deployment which means you could just use the Intel solution to on-board a device and manage it with manual/semi-automated key rotation. The solution would be just as secure as one with Keyscalar. As I have always said, it's a nice to have bolt-on product, clean and easy even to use but by no means a fundamental requirement and therefore most implementations which can not justify the additional cost, don't bother with it.

JonC is right, RNS is the requirement for news. We all know that, right? Except perhaps the board *joking*

Chapv, nobody is that sad. The name of the game is pretending to be an investor happening upon a stock they feel is overbought. That can be plausible until you spend every day with exclusively negative sentiment on a thread for a year. My guess is MM Joey instructed to keep stock gamblers and lazy money on their toes or short seller pushing for lower price. Nobody would just have no interest and that much to say. Nobody.

So market is up by 2 odd percent and Tern appears to have more buys than sells with a brokers note out reminding us about the recent news from FVR and DA and we are marked down yet again.
So bloody frustrating espically when drinking beer when it's 50 odd Cs, used to enjoy Tern when it was a normal share

Any body who spends all day every day on a bulletin board where they have acknowledged they have no interest must be a bit sad!!

the beauty of the FVR investment is that it should build AS and Tern a big contact base for any follow on investments into the medical iot sector !!

As we approach the end of July and the summer holidays begin, I wonder where the TERN share price will be in the Autumn. If we have not already had the first divestment of one of our portfolio companies, we will see the revaluation of the TERN NAV in the interim results. Al has written a paper on how one might value our portfolio of companies and for IOT it should be based on the realistic potential of future earnings. My belief is that revenue projections based on the first 6 months of 2019 sales is going to produce an order of magnitude increase in NAV. Which will give us POUNDS NOT PENCE.

Allenby Capital TMT Update 29.07.19 (TERN.L, GETB.L)
Tern plc* (TERN.L, 12p/£28.4m)
Investee company update (25.07.19)
FundamentalVR (34.7% holding - NAV £1.9m) - order worth c. £0.5m for an additional VR simulation for an unnamed global pharmaceutical company. This is the second order in a planned series of virtual reality simulations designed to accelerate the safe and compliant use of their products. The majority of this order will be completed during 2019. FundamentalVR's platform combines VR with haptics (sense of touch) to create low-cost and scalable simulation experiences.
Device Authority (56.8% - NAV £11.9m) - partnership with City, University of London, as part of a research collaboration, building connections between industry and academia. DA will also be offering placements for students studying the Internet of Things with Entrepreneurship course. DA is focused on device centric IoT identity and access management (IAM) with its KeyScaler platform that automates the provisioning of device security.
Allenby Capital comment: Ongoing progress at Tern's two largest investee companies. Tern provides AIM-listed exposure to the rapid growth of the IoT market, the US West Coast ecosystem and the associated potential valuation levels. Tern has focused on the Medical and Manufacturing sectors that offer long term structural growth potential with an emphasis on security, applications enablement and data analytics. Its model is to take meaningful stakes in proven UK software companies where it can add value through its experienced management team.

* Allenby Capital acts as Nomad and Broker to Tern plc.
