09/5/2019 10:24 | I assume Tern could have stretched to about £2 million for FVR. Whatever is going on I expect to see at least £2-3 million of new money come into FVR and possibly more. Last valuation for FVR was £5.5 million about 6 months ago. Valuation 1 year ago was £4.5 million. So 25% growth in first 6 months. I'm thinking a few multiples this time around. Where to 6 and 12 months further down the line?Is this going to be the moment that wakens the market to Tern. | tyrano1

09/5/2019 10:12 | Tyrano1 Negotiations always take a little longer than first anticipated. However, if multiple parties and funds are involved it is a little more complex. Welcome confirmation of a done deal in next week and calculation of a new increased value for that diamond that is FVR | ebomber

09/5/2019 10:07 | The founders of FVR will have wanted to give away as little of the company as possible while receiving the maximum amount of funds. I would think that AS got as much as he could possibly get with the available funds. The master stroke I'm thinking of is getting a 15-20% return on the loan with immediate effect, and perhaps the right to use the proceeds to buy additional stake at a discount. Remember that if someone else comes in to buy 10%, then at the very least Tern would have to buy back 3.47% just to retain their share. That doesn't take away from the bitter pill of the 8.5p placing but I wouldn't cast final judgement until we see what they're up to. | tyrano1

09/5/2019 10:00 | Hi TyranoI like your thinking :))) | johnma
09/5/2019 09:57 | Agreed but FVR would have a say and their aim would be to minimise dilution to them ... is never simple !!! | meganxmas

09/5/2019 09:57 | Tyrano I don’t believe the real news in connection with FVR has broke yet | ebomber
09/5/2019 09:56 | Not really a master stroke to increase stake in fvr in May 2019 when it's a hot (discovered) potato when you could have done it earlier when fvR was still relatively quiet (at a higher share price for tern, e.g. a Autumn 2018 placing to raise the necessary £2m or so) Hindsight is wonderful.... | andrbea
09/5/2019 09:55 | Tyrano that is the most sensible looking analysis I have seen yet on this. Hopefully will find out very soon. | meganxmas
09/5/2019 09:53 | Spot on tyrano! | ebomber
09/5/2019 09:50 | Jp, if correct then that is pretty interesting. Why wouldn't Tern just tell them that if they need another round of funding then Tern want another 10% of the company for a further £1 million. I bet they offered but were declined by FVR. There must be negotiations going on to bring much more significant funding into FVR. This loan note if correct must be a bridging loan to meet short term commitments whilst those negotiations are concluded. The terms of the loan could be quite good for Tern. But more importantly the amount of new money coming in must be way in excess of what Tern could or would want to provide, and even more importantly at a valuation significantly higher than previously. FVR is exactly the type of company where we could see a bit of a bidding war going on for a stake. I'm betting AS is going to pull off a master stroke here. | tyrano1
