The only Hope is they still break a big deal with French Telecom for the untested product. I will keep my ear to the ground. They have never previously sold into the French market.

This company will be in administration come Feb 2007 according to my calculations on cash flow/trading losses and cash churn.

This is the biggest basket case on the stockmarket.

Nor would they bother.

And he did say "appears to be heading for bankrupcy", which is not quite the same thing at all, again IMO.

The chart doesn't inspire confidence either!

This company is busted flush and baring a miracle will be bankrupt within 12 months.

Guys how long have I been telling you this now. No-one was ever interested in buying this dinasaur and no competitor is threatened by it. Engineering design were and are far too slow in bringing products to market. Shiv (Wrecker) Rakkar in his disastrous time decides that manufacturing is not sensible and they must sub-contract (Wrong as China has gone already). Management has only been in it for themselves for the last few years and I bet those two idiots going yesterday take more than Government redundancy packages. The internal decisions now mean NO MORE NEW PRODUCT development. As I have previously reported they are relying on an unfinished product and redundant products. Also no-one left to sell these products. You can keep on reducing the cost base but with little sales and a larger Raw Material stock position than you might imagine (Due to buying to falsely high sales forecasts (no wonder he has been punted)), the cash reserves which are ALL that is prolonging this beast are dwindling.
FARADAY the major shareholder represent the family of the original founder. I bet he is turning in his grave !!! The family have also been badly advised and a company that was worth £50million+ to them at one time I believe is now valued at around £1million for their holding.

To STATE that the company is heading for bankrupcy is actually libellous. The company is a going concern for the purposes of LSE reporting and has cash. I suggest you remove it, even if you still believe it!

I would never state, although may question whether, a company is going bankrupt! There could be expensive and time-consuming repercussions.

Yes it is a going concern today and has cash in the bank.However it appears to have the wrong products for this market.It would be fantastic if the Management won one big order and of course would change everything.However today things dont look good....

Just to give you guys an interest. My Moles inform me that Telspecs last throw of the dice their TELMAX A Broadband (Not before time)16 port Mini IP or ATM rack mount or 1 U DSLAM is in a quaint position. They are making some quite good sales on this unit. However as far as I am aware it has not even been field tested as yet. The word is if this dont work it could be time to shut the doors.
On another note I mentioned previously that servicing of old units had moved from the Cheap-Cost base of a Technician at Perth Scotland to a £35-40000pa Engineer in Rochester as part of an Empire building excercise. Well the bad news is I believe they have thousands of BT units to service (Under warranty so no financial return) and no-one now to do it.
They have won some more old historical business from BT that was previously built by specialists at Perth. My sources tell me that trying to get one of their sub-contractors to do this build may be slightly difficult as the knowledge base has now long gone.
The Good news however is that I shagged a bird with big breasts last night !!!

GG I did notice that CDN's price was holding extremely well in all the blood letting of the recent weeks, and this was tempting me to buy, But lack of cash prevented me from doing so. Hope the MMD/Scooty saga turns out well, I sometimes visit the Scooty BB but I'm not tempted to buy, I lost too much money and too many bad memories.
