15/4/2017 09:16 | Liabilities up to $157 million from $104 million 2015.... If this continues on the next set of results, could be the time to short | general george
15/4/2017 08:50 | Anyone short yet? What price will you jump in at Jaknife? The thing that puts me off shorting is the 240k purchase and the director holdings. On the red flag side for a shorting case are.... 1. No cash flow 2. Debt increasing 3. Dividend paid by debt, why is there a dividend anyway? 4. Accounting to give the impression of a profit Im undecided, but would like more debt on the balance sheet before I short Best GG | general george
14/4/2017 11:03 | OML reducing short position on the 11th Looking like a general and consistent short reduction by most institutions under way. | owenski

JakNife / General George (Reader, I only post Drivel and all I post is a fictional product of my wild imagination in search of the oxygen of publicity. please do not feed this delusion by responding. 03/4/2017 09:00 | hxxp://www.contracts Quote "Q.: Is short selling legal? A: Yes. It's a standard and completely legitimate investment technique. However, there are constraints. For instance in the UK you are not allowed to take any action intended to distort the market and a concerted attempt to drive down the market value of a company by short-selling its shares is, in theory, illegal. However, the bar is set quite high for a successful prosecution: it is entirely legal to sell a company short if you have reason to believe that the price will fall, or if you have good reason (but not 'insider' knowledge!) to believe that it should fall and is currently overpriced. It's only illegal if your primary goal is to drive down the price by short-selling and that would be a very difficult thing to prove in a court of law." end quote. | bazildonbond
03/4/2017 08:11 | How does a company protect itself by limiting borrow? Hopefully Jaknife you can respond, as you have been researching Telit in some depth. Many tks GG | general george

02/4/2017 13:19 | Eagle eye, they're not my posts but a copy and paste/quote from another member, i too tottaly agree with Owenski. | bazildonbond
02/4/2017 09:43 | bazildonbond, Thanks for your post from yesterday's Show re Telit. I would have posted this morning, but think you have covered the salient points well. Whilst heavy capitalization of R&D is open to interpretation, I agree with owenski that Oozi is a shrewd operator knows what he is about. | eagle eye
02/4/2017 09:36 | The CEO is holding over 19% of the stock and last year a director (Chicco Testa) bought £240k's worth in one hit, don't usually see that happening in stocks that have underlying problems. The model here is to build and populate an IoT real estate network, this to some degree is what is costing the money, it is likely they will hit an inflexion point in the next two years with market penetration - their verticals and vendor tie ups make this seem certain. The real money earner here is the data/cloud side of the business which has been growing at a fast rate and also expected to hit an inflexion point within the next two years. Margins on this side of the business can hit 80% and its high growth. Worth listening to a couple of the recent webcasts and results conference call to understand what the business is about. In my opinion, certain people have fixated on the balance sheet while they are clearly still expanding their business empire and miss the point of what they are trying to achieve, and the evidence is clear they are achieving. The revenues will continue to accelerate for some years to come - the cost base relative to revenue will shrink and FCF will accelerate. Irrespective of my opinion, the market will vote anyway and it was obvious the recent results were well received and short positions started moving down. | owenski
01/4/2017 22:16 | Have a suspicion that this gets bought by a lot of US investors, equally as their FCF and other ratios improve, a topic covered in a recent brokers note, the valuation could go a lot higher. Agree the finances are always a topic with Telit. The business looks interesting though, they are definitely building an IoT empire here. | owenski
30/3/2017 19:01 | This seems like it could carry on rising. Where will it stop? Who knows....... | general george
30/3/2017 17:48 | As it was Morgan Stanley who were a big successful shorter from 350 to sub 200, no doubt they are looking forward to the other side of the coin and short squeezing the 10%: a brokers dream punt sell to a client. | bbluesky
30/3/2017 09:09 | Blackrock reduced short position again on the 27th, Reckon it'll be a race so as not to be left holding the baby, lol | owenski |
