02/11/2017 11:26 | thanks tony, our wires were crossed. if the contents of your link are true, then the only question I have, is why on earth did this take so long? | frazboy
02/11/2017 11:23 | Share price nosediving - i can't see any announcements. Anyone better informed? | frazboy
02/11/2017 11:23 | Regulator launches probe into scandal-hit tech company Telit hxxp://news.sky.com/ | tonysss13
02/11/2017 11:20 | There are a huge number of bulletin board morons, dreamers and fantasists hanging on to their hopes in this stock. But no news is not good news and the longer they wait the heavier the fall is likely to be. Best advice to anyone still in this stock is to take what money they have left and run! | wiseacre
01/11/2017 21:40 | troubliingtimes From the H1 results: "Gross R&D operating expenses (expenses before capitalisation and amortisation of internally generated development costs - see note 3) increased to $35.4 million (H1 2016: $28.8 million). The increase is largely due to the acquisitions of Stollmann in H1 2016 and GainSpan in H1 2017" Gainspan was acquired for $8m in February this year. The fund raise was in May. If there have been any further acquisitions of any significance then I'm fairly confident the company would have informed us in the interim results or in the October update as a means of explaining where the cash has gone. Don't you think? Best of luck with your holding | frazboy
01/11/2017 21:15 | well bbm - I guess we can assume that if there was an accounting hole they have filled it in as maybe only £10-15m went on the acquisitions we know about. If that's the case, then the case for an acquisition is that much stronger as the gaps are closed | troublingtimes
31/10/2017 11:42 | Yeah, they failed a banking covenant 56 days after raising £39m of new equity which is generally not a good sign of corporate health. | dangersimpson2
31/10/2017 11:29 | How are they doing on the acquisitions? You remember, the ones they raised £39M for about 6 months back? The proceeds from the Placing will be used to fund several identified acquisition opportunities, mainly in the IoT Services sector, which the Company will look to execute in the near to medium term. I think the money has been used to keep the lights on. | bbmsionlypostafter
31/10/2017 08:26 | Short positions now at 12.4% from 12.7% | owenski
30/10/2017 20:12 | Take this over ? Would take 5 years to go through the accounts lol | panic investor
30/10/2017 08:28 | Short positions down from 12.8% to 12.7% | owenski
27/10/2017 11:50 | you could be right bbm - but I think the jury is still out. We have the Chinese. We have Rothschild appointed to review bids. Lots of smoke! | troublingtimes
27/10/2017 11:39 | If anyone was going to take this over you'd have heard about it weeks ago. Not happening. | bbmsionlypostafter
27/10/2017 11:28 | You would think, now the big Chinese leadership conference is finished we'll probably start to see action if the Chinese are going to move. Didn't "god" Xi now say he wants China to become the leader in the world. Presumably that means they will be grabbing technology everywhere? Especially if it looks like its at a discount. | troublingtimes
27/10/2017 09:26 | Short positions down to 12.8% | owenski
27/10/2017 09:17 | With the new certification maybe they are starting to ship lots of boxes? The leader of the shorter gang Ennismore apparently have a lot of spies in the company so they will know if the remainder of q4 will be strong. Maybe this means they know the company will exceed its reduced revenue forecast? | troublingtimes
27/10/2017 08:44 | Shorts are starting to close, maybe good time to start adding ?? | senor_sensible
27/10/2017 00:58 | There are some comments somewhere that the Chinese player has interests in businesses where there is a strategic fit but not seen any real detail on that. Some of the Asian newsletters seem to have the inside track. | troublingtimes
24/10/2017 11:27 | "Has this stock just become a take over play?" troubling times, you've been inferring that it's a takeover play in several of your recent posts - clearly, it might be, the FT article reinforced that view (although I would love to know where they got their information). The Chinese punter is the obvious buyer, although they may just be building a "strategic" interest, whatever that means. In the opinion of the bears, something has to happen to keep this show on the road, a cash injection, or a takeover - interesting times. | frazboy
24/10/2017 11:14 | Doesn't seem to be much reaction to today's certification? Seems to me this takes some of the uncertainty out of the forecasts but probably not much difference in this year's results but then it just shifts the sales to q1 next year. Has this stock just become a take over play? | troublingtimes
24/10/2017 08:32 | Yes, looking forward to the trading update in November, and the names of the to be appointed directors. It'll also be interesting to see what happens at the end of the lock-in period for those party to the fund raise in May, and how the Chinese investor reacts should more stock become available. | frazboy |
