Yep, more of an income with growth stock now. Should still eventually get to 1 million customers.

Interesting points, I guess that as you point out they need to start focusing on growing ARPU.
I bought on the dip earlier in the year at 8.50 so I am ahead but I am not sure that these results are going to give the necessary impetus to get the share price climbing again.
I am in no hurry to sell but equally this now seems to be more of a sideways play now.

Second mild winter on the trot and new entrants to the market will create some challenges too ....

I have some experience of working in one of these multi-level marketing type operations and the perceived wisdom is that no company can ever get more than 50,000 agents in the UK at any one time so I think we have to get used to a steady figure of around this for TEP especially in climate of near full employment.Using the 80/20 rule, expect that some 10,000 of this 50,k will be really pro-active and there is no reason why TEP cannot keep adding about 50,000 net new customers each year.
The challenge is how to maintain revenue growth when this customer growth is being offset by continual pricing pressures.
I guess this is why they are starting to focus on raising spend per customer by the LED bulb incentive and adding new services like insurance and water.
Management here looks as sound as ever.

Clearly spoke too soon!
Down by more than the index as I type this.
I guess I will give it a week or two and if it does not perk up I will take what will be one of my few profits for the year!

Nice solid statement, hopefully this can finally get the share price moving back towards the £14 area.
The divi is now big enough to provide decent support around this level.

Salp. I don't think the mild weather will be helping but hopefully we will soon get news on the insurance products.Needs to diversify away from energy.

Well, either the upcoming update will give the share price a lift back to the £14 region or it will disappoint in which case I will be offloading like a lot of others I imagine.

Hi all,

I couldn't resist it and decided I needed some more TEP - looks to me like the Chart is turning up off Support Line and Results soon. I put a Blog about it on my Website and this also includes an initial purchase of some McCarthy & Stone MCS:

I hope it helps, WD
