06/8/2021 11:59 | I think anyone with a reasonable appetite for risk would be rewarded here. It may take 12 months plus but the current price seems low. The chart for the last 7 months is looking strong and we've tested the 50p area many times and support seems very strong. | pinemartin9
06/8/2021 11:53 | Re new contract I’m thinking it may be similar value to the previous 2017 contract but unfortunately couldn’t find any RNS since AIM listing came afterwards. RM | rampmeister
06/8/2021 11:38 | Today's news is very promising but I do wonder if TGP will need to raise some more capital to finance this work. If TGP were, for example, to raise £5 million by a placing at 40p, we would obviously see a fall in the share price but I believe it would soon recover. | varies
06/8/2021 10:02 | Yes, I was going to try and do a bit of detective work. Would be great to get a feel for approx size of contract and correlation to wind farm size in MW. There must be a very approximate correlation at least. I guess it also depends on any warranty/service provisions that are also negotiated. | pinemartin9
06/8/2021 09:59 | What is missing is,they do not say how much this contract is worth.Once we know that we can gauge its significance. | imperial3
06/8/2021 09:45 | Info on Baltic Eagle. Medium sized offshore wind farm. Good to get in a bit with Iberdrola (Scottish Power). They have a strong OWF pipeline. Iberdrola group will build its second major offshore wind project in the Baltic: Baltic Eagle. Located 30 kilometres to the northeast of Rügen island off the coast of Pomerania (Germany), this new 476 megawatt (MW) installation will supply renewable energy to 475,000 households. The transport and installation of the foundations as well as the supply, transport and installation of the interconnection cables have been awarded to Van Oord. The Dutch company is deploying its 8,000-tonne heavy lift installation vessel, the Svanen, to install the 50 monopiles, which has installed more than 700 foundations across Europe. Van Oord will use its Nexus vessel and the Dig-It trencher, which will be adapted to the difficult sea floor conditions in the Baltic, to lay the cables between the various assemblies. | pinemartin9
06/8/2021 09:39 | It was a 'non-RNS'. They used to just put them on the news section of the website, so this is an improvement. Still, it does look significant. | jonwig
06/8/2021 09:31 | Must be decent otherwise it wouldn't have been a RNS... Hopefully a few more like this, and we might get a RNS trading statement saying they are exceeding expectations. That will get the S/P moving..... | igoe104
06/8/2021 08:57 | Good contract wonder what the value is? | charlie9038
06/8/2021 08:15 | Nice contract, hopefully this share will start building some momentum now.. | igoe104
06/8/2021 07:39 | As if by magic, a lovely looking contract............ | chrisdgb
05/8/2021 15:30 | Agree, lots of stuff being awarded elsewhere - could do with some wins! | pinemartin9
04/8/2021 10:45 | Some contract news would also help our momentum..... | chrisdgb
03/8/2021 16:56 | Blue finish at last makes me feel a bit more comfortable. GLA | charlie9038
03/8/2021 15:29 | Prices can stay depressed for quite a while when earlier buyers have bought much higher up, even if business improves. That chart is a big psychological barrier to new buyers, unless they've actually looked in detail at the financials and the plans. How many people really do that. I haven't here - just going with the green flow in a small way and didn't look too risky - but that was around 60p not 160p ! | yump
03/8/2021 14:28 | Charlie9038, I'm in a similar position. Very close to my stop loss and can't see why the share price is so low. The chart does not look good but with the multiple recent contract wins it doesn't feel like the right time to sell. Its a tricky one. | rangor
03/8/2021 10:23 | Tend to agree this should be pushing towards 60p but the market does'nt seem to think so. Getting very close to my stop loss and I am starting to loose patience, perhaps that is what everyone else is doing, stopped out and had enough! I was hoping the presentation would help. GLA | charlie9038
03/8/2021 09:25 | Because the chart is weakening...does the market know something?... | diku
03/8/2021 07:29 | Good to see a respected name such as Sarasin adding to their position and now over 6%, still cant quite work out why we are not pushing back towards the 60p level rather than the 40p level...... | chrisdgb
02/8/2021 14:44 | Tekmar Capital Markets Day presentation. Good overview of the 5-year strategic plan and how it will deliver on its ambitions. Video: Podcast: | tomps2
27/7/2021 08:56 | I have a few of these but not topping up until things are a bit clearer. Too much talk of ebitda for my liking - once you take off all the stuff to get to an actual figure that represents the real state of the business, what will it look like - assuming say 50% revenue increase ? | yump
25/7/2021 10:19 | www.woodmac.com/pres That's a lot of cables! | charlie9038
23/7/2021 18:42 | Cerrito - I also have a small holding (in at 63p ish) What with technical hitches. power cuts and the like - the presentation was not the most dynamic. I caught part of Bulmers presentation and I thought he presented very well. He also spoke very positively about his reasoning and why he chose to take the job. Energy transition, market opportunity, blah blah, great people, blah blah. But he would say that wouldn't he? Except he didn't have to. I felt he was more positive than your average CFO. I was more impressed than I expected to be. I wasn't listening that closely so I will listen again when it comes up on Piworld. Been buying some more this morning. Still a small position though. Not a tiny position any longer. I recogmise that there is the possibility of them raising equity. But re-reading the recent 12 month interims I think the risk of this has been decreasing. Key to that is reduced costs (without cutting capability - just the old CEO?), increasing orders, the Cbils loan and cashflow. They state that they expect to self-fund the £10-12m investment need for growth using internal cash generation. They managed to end the 12month period with 3.8m in cash (including the 3m Cbils loan) and also state that 4m of the 7.1 receivables at the period end had already been received by the date of the report - which is a hefty chunk of cash to keep the wheels turning? Not saying that there won't be a placing. Just that they have not gone out of their way to leave the door open. Quite the reverse they seem to have been quite explicit that they can manage. That all depends upon orders flowing to plan and no problems so anything can happen - on balance I see a capital raise as less than 50% probability. More like 2:1 against. I am quite new to this company - only been following it for a few months, so plenty more work to do yet, but I was more impressed by the presentation than I expected to be, cheers | illiswilgig |
