11/5/2016 15:58 | You could as them if we will ever see a deal with any on our licenses :)) Slow slippage in share price on no news!! | battlebus2
04/5/2016 08:42 | Agm on the 27th May. Subject to some personal issues I will be attending and would appreciate any input for items to discuss via BB | pj 1
29/4/2016 14:33 | "We remain confident that meaningful near-term revenues will arise from commercialising our IP portfolio" - use of the adjective 'near-term' is positive. "We are making solid progress on our commercialisation programmes for a number of our licensed properties and believe that we will be in a position to update the market in due course." - in contrast the term 'in due course' could not be more vague. Clutching at straws tbh. Struggling to get excited about anything in today's results. Dearly hope this doesn't turn out to be yet another standard 'jam tomorrow' story. | speedsgh
29/4/2016 08:45 | Im still trying to get some dialogue going with the Co, but its not easy :-/ Maybe now they are out of closed period (I assume)it may become easier | pj 1
29/4/2016 08:43 | Now that we have hit the bullseye of 50 patents could we throw our darts at making the board we have work and generating some prize money for us investors. That said the Snap 11 looks good if it had a slight adaptation for investors. What we really need is a level of consciousness monitor for investor use during portfolio procedures requiring general updates. It is good to see revenue almost double but admin expenses increase by only a third. Good only of course if the gap between the two can be significantly widened as we start from a low revenue base. Let's hope the direct sales teams in the US bring significant revenue or else they are not worthwhile having. No information on Crackle or Moje. Must be an investor version of 'dad dancing'. Something that happens only after a few drinks. In which case we might hear something about it at the AGM over drinks and canapés. | mach100
29/4/2016 08:36 | Yes the most exciting phrase... Near term....3 million cash so we needn't panic selling a license on the cheap :)) | battlebus2
29/4/2016 08:19 | Im pretty sure this is a first for me. Results day, no mark up, no mark down, no buys on the open, no sells on the open....... | pj 1
29/4/2016 08:12 | Certainly not giving anything away are they BB2, cash position maybe better than I feared, no where near profit, more talk about recent events than the 'older' stuff? Bland really | pj 1
29/4/2016 07:21 | Results out, but nothing of interest in licensing terms. | battlebus2
28/4/2016 09:39 | Tbf PJ it often transforms your small holding into an even smaller one following that announcement :) Results should be around 2015 going on 2015 and we should get a clearer idea on revenues. No point in throwing $100,000 around like confetti if you are not hitting your numbers. | mach100
28/4/2016 09:25 | Well, at least they have not used the word ''transformational'' | pj 1
28/4/2016 09:20 | A fairly complicated deal as well to be fair. Lots of intermeshing and buying something but not having full ownership with the added salt of paying a yearly fee. Hasn't done any damage to the share price so far but a further complication is that they can't sell the majority of the shares but can the minority of them. Been around for 18 years and is only managing a $3000 loss per year. I hope TEK can do alchemy on the company. If they do any more acquisitions they will be on Hoarders the tv Program. Let's hope they can deliver on one of these techs like Crackle and Moje and well as getting the IPO away. Today's acquisition is not my cup of tea and needs some Crackle technology as it looks half-baked to me as a proposition. | mach100
28/4/2016 08:06 | a leading technology transfer executive search firm= Recruiter? | pj 1
28/4/2016 07:16 | Another small acquisition, not sure how it fits?? | battlebus2
22/4/2016 11:45 | speedsgh Thanks, things must be bad when I cannot remember my own posts! :-// | pj 1
22/4/2016 11:37 | PJ1 - The following is from your own post back in Apr 2015 - Speaking to Proactive Investors, finance director Malcolm Groat explained that clients typically pay a retainer to receive a monthly report from Tekcapital on IP developments in their chosen sector, and each new client win moves the company closer to breaking even just from recurring revenue. "Companies are quite keen to have a look over the fence to see what the other guys are up to. The Fortune 100 companies are very keen, and the cost of the service to companies of this size is not significant," Groat explained. Groat said the company should move into profit when it passes 35 clients and it is hoping to pass this milestone by the end of this year [2015]. The company added three new clients last week and two this, while it revealed in its November trading update it had secured 15 retained client, so it is well over half-way towards its target. | speedsgh
22/4/2016 11:25 | They keep expanding the Sales force, which begs the question what they are 'selling'? I seem to remember Gross claiming they will be operationally at break even by end 2015, via Proactive investors I believe, but I cannot find it. | pj 1
22/4/2016 11:04 | Mach - Maybe, but the only thing that is going to let us see real strides forward here is evidence they are starting to commercialise some of all these technologies that they have been buying up. Otherwise they are likely to be back looking to raise more funds sometime soon. Cash was £3.786m as at 31/5/15 (from Half Yearly Report) following a placing at start of May 2015 which raised £2m net. Nearly 12 months on, how much of that £3.786m will now be left? | speedsgh
22/4/2016 10:46 | Good point speed, I hadn't looked beyond the recent updated announcement. They did a fair bit of selling then at Xmas selling down almost 20% of their holding. On the 21st of December 2015 the share price was 48p but it was 41p on 4th January 2016. So perhaps Commerzbank selling down hit the price. At least out direction of travel is better in this new tax year to date. And further increases of their stake could see us push through 50p. | mach100
21/4/2016 15:32 | Not sure we should read too much into the latest holdings rns. Commerzbank holding has ebbed + flowed a bit over the last 12 months or so but I suppose it is better for them to be adding as opposed to selling... 21/6/15 previous holding 2,147,500; new 2,485,000; representing 7.17% 21/12/15 previous holding 2,485,000; new 2,407,500; representing 6.91% 30/12/15 previous holding 2,407,500; new 1,970,000; representing 5.65% 19/4/16 previous holding 1,970,000; new 2,230,000; representing 6.40% | speedsgh
21/4/2016 15:23 | Yes good to see, missed that yesterday. | battlebus2
21/4/2016 15:15 | Commerzbank have upped their holding to 6.4% so they clearly see value here. It explains why the price has held up in the face of some chunky selling at times. | mach100
14/4/2016 16:22 | Thanks speed . I live near there so handy for me! Let's hope they can fill us in on the latest strategy. I am late to the party at 47p but think this could be big. | mach100
14/4/2016 15:37 | Mach100 - Details of this year's AGM still to be released afaics. Last year they were held on Friday 29 May 2015 at the offices of Charles Russell Speechly LLP, 5 Fleet Place, London, EC4M 7RD | speedsgh
14/4/2016 14:59 | PJ where will the AGM be held as I would like to attend too? Even so there are two issues I would like to raise. I have some dietary concerns. So for the refreshments is it possible have say baked foods which have similar attributes, in terms of taste and texture, to those of fried foods but with approximately 60 per cent. less fat content in the finished product. Also my phone battery is awful and keeps dying and bleeping so if they could lay on some energy harvesting devices like you get at all AGMs, conferences etc I think that would be welcomed. I can't think of any company specific issues though but am looking forward to some updates. | mach100 |
