'The mining company that found the biggest diamond in more than a century has joined the race to use blockchain technology to guarantee the quality and ethics of gem supplies.

Lucara Diamond Corp., which in 2016 discovered a 1,109-carat stone, bought the operator of a digital platform selling rough diamonds, as well as blockchain technology that seeks to track gems through the industry’s long and often opaque supply chain.'

Such systems may also guard banks against fraud in a secrecy-cloaked industry, where loans are often based on paper invoices.'

This technology is not going away any time soon,in my opinion.

Let me elaborate more on the competition, there are a few projects today that are looking at moving diamonds on blockchain, we are talking to some of them as we actually see them as our natural partners as we both have a similar end game.

By coloborating we will allow their tokenization process to fit the CEDEX exchange and expand our reach into the diamond eco system, and we in return expose them to new markets they wouldn't tap into without CEDEX.

Raising max $40m in Ico on 50m Tokens (25m in Pre sale & 25m in Crowd sale

They are keeping the other 50M for future development plans, so in practice that's a market capital value of $80m / £58m x 85% Tech's wi% = £49m

£49m div 75m Tech shares = 65p

Just did. Currently on £17million market cap.When launch completes and 50 million Cedex retained, tech financials value should be 43 million.Huge scope for share to increase.

From the above post about Lucra's Diamond business into Blockchain, someone posted this on Cedex Telegram today. Please see Cedex Admin's reply to this:

"Lucara intends to commercialize the Clara platform in the coming months using a selection of the diamond production from the company's Karowe Diamond Mine. Thereafter, Clara will be scaled to accommodate diamond uptake from a variety of sources across the supply chain"

Thank you Rob for the interesting information, yes we see a lot of activity among both diamonds leading corporate and outsiders to go blockchain with diamonds in order to make it transparent and reliable. I think it is very good news for CEDEX as we plan to feed from such producers and from the effect it will create on the whole diamonds ecosystem
