Even if they all purchased 10k each it would make a good statement. Surely they don't need to be buying new cars new houses etc every year, so they could easily afford to buy some shares...

At least he has spent some money. Board members should follow his example (but spend a bit more!). How can they expect the market to re-rate this company when they are unwilling to put their hands in their pockets and show a vote of confidence and buy? Come on Board, you are allowed to trade now that the trading statement is out, cough up and buy!

Happy with today's TS. As far I am concerned its broadly as I suspected. Not quite sure why the market doesn't get it.

If we look at the chart here we can see that it hasn't truly recovered since initial lockdown. I find this somewhat strange given that 1.The effect of COVID has not been particularly detrimental, 2. the outlook is as strong as it ever was.

I am keen on the strategy to deliver 3% margin as well as the companies specialisms being tied in well with what I consider growth areas for modern buildings.

I reckon this is worth at least 50% more than present share price I am aware if the principle that contractors tend to have fluctuating earnings but CTO has been rather consistent in recent years and so applying a heavy discount seems a little inapropriate.

Price is currently glued to that high of the day at 99p, up 13% atm.

Still, very surprised this hasn't moved through £1 yet on this years performance alone. To do £6m EBIT in a year like this, not have to raise capital, have confidence in the dividend and a growing order book compared to a market cap of £43m, let alone recovery confidence in future years...well it's rather low bar.

Never going to get a whopping rating, but there should be at least 20% here in the short term imo. It always strikes me how alot of these smaller ones sit around on lowly valuations for a while, and then bizarrely, leap on someone like Simon Thompson doing a write up, like it's completely unknown what is going on with the existing and improving fundamentals as per HSP today.

I guess we roll with this peculiar market behaviour and wait for that bullish write up, possibly next week, Monday or Thursday?

Re-rating to commence then?

It's all blooming bonkers :-D

All imo

Bought at the bell.

The market was clearly sceptical going into the update (albeit on small volume) so it sold off yesterday. Clearly that hasn't proven to be the case with a very good statement today, which bodes well for a material re-rating higher imo.
