Revenue £28.8M and profit just £200k. What the hell are they spending £28.6M on ?

Value it on an 8 x PE and it doesn't look good at all.

Unless there were 'exceptional items' in the costs and the real underlying profit was, say £5M ??

In my capacity as a certified financial planner I will be seeing Tavistock's offer as fund managers to other advisers for the first time at a conference on Monday. They have paid for a stand there.

I will try to feed back objectively.

Their advisers to assets ratio is worrying. No wonder they aren't profitable.

A bit busy on the thread today, Inerims on 28/11 last year so maybe some interest on the run up to this and some volume to move us north :-)

Chart suggests to me we are looking to move higher. About time for us long suffering holders. Guess the company's prospects are finally looking brighter?

In terms of getting to the next level, currently just shy of £20m market cap, maybe they should look at something like a Walker Crips merger..........£15.5m market cap...any thoughts?

Think I last posted in Jan 2018. I’d simply placed my small investment in the bottom drawer as stated at the time.

The outlook signifies a high degree of confidence: -

“The Group has now made the breakthrough of reporting a pre-tax profit and its future prospects are excellent.“

&

“The Group benefits from a high degree of earnings visibility and based upon the anticipated revenue to be generated on existing FUM from the start of the current year, and upon the Group's current cost base, it would be reasonable to anticipate that the Company will report significantly improved performance for the current financial year.”

In addition, I would also welcome new brokers as previously intimated. Allenby failed miserably with the placing for the Bailey acquisition, eventually getting it away at a -30% discount to the share price at the time. Shares have been under pressure since. Recent RNS’s also indicate Helium’s declaration on building a position here, with their buying appearing to have removed the persistent overhang.

With operational gearing now kicking in I’m hopeful that the next set of results will confirm the growth story emerging.

Kind regards
GHF

EDIT - Parts of the post didn’t copy over. Post now edited to include RNS outlook from recent results.

It would be good to continue its rise slowly without bringing too much attention to others.
