Some comments from Canadian PM, don't see anything else,
unless there is negative newsflow from another sector company?.
The outlook is the same as the FY, as already mentioned.

Not sure why the drop today since nothing new. Quote from the annual results in May:"For the year ending 31 March 2019, we expect growth in earnings per share4 in constant currency to be in a mid-single digit range, albeit towards the lower end due to energy and transport cost inflation in North America and a strong year of Commodities performance in fiscal 2018."

Jackson has been shortlisted for her work helping bakers across the UK and Europe to reduce sugar, fat and calories in their cakes, biscuits and other baked goods.

From Tate & Lyle’s technical service centre and ingredient blending facility in Mold, Flintshire, she has adapted hundreds of product recipes to improve their nutrition profile, without compromising taste or texture, and has helped bakery customers to implement these changes at their sites.

The bulk tankers still use the Tate and Lyle logo so not surprising that some investors still think this is a sugar business. Or is there still some non_EU sugar business? No mention in last report.

Hi Phil, don't get me started on Trump, have high blood pressure as it is!.

I have GRG at the top of my watch list btw.

VOD I quite liked before coming accorss that TA article
posted over on ii, reposted it on the VOD board here.
VOD price was in the 1.90's at the time, TA view gave
1.70 as major support, if 1.86 was breeched.
I don't usually pay too much attention to those calls,
but for some reason it seemed to ring true.
