08/4/2013 08:25 | gucci similar to myself in my SIPP i bought in heavily at just a little higher and have been adding on many of the dips, it's now my biggest holding. I'm hoping it's going to make my retirement healthy and comfortable :-)) WC | woodcutter
05/4/2013 23:06 | Woodcutter, I have been holding these in my isa for a few years now - since about 1.10, been a good stress free hold. Added today :-)) Nice divi too | gucci

05/4/2013 18:04 | gucci we haven't had a "love it" for a while, don't get to carried away i think we'll see some consolidation around 240p...ish The brokers seem to have between 17p and 19p eps this year but i reckon we'll smash that, i'm looking at a minimum of 20p eps (and growing bi-year on bi-year, given Emslies record) added to the 12.2p from this year just completed that's a biannual of 16p eps so i figure 240p is per of 15 about justified imo. As i've said before it's not fully understood because of the bi-annual sales. but as they say DYOR. woody | woodcutter

06/3/2013 07:52 | Excellent results- Current trading and outlook -- Forward bookings for 2013, on a like-for-like basis, are currently 16% ahead of those for 2012 (as adjusted for biennials and acquisitions) | battlebus2
02/2/2013 17:39 | Tarsus is an international B2B media group with interests in exhibitions, conferences, publishing and online media. As a result of its two largest events (The Dubai airshow and Labelexpo Europe) occurring bi-annually, results are biased towards odd numbered years. The 7 January trading update suggested 2012 results will be in line with market expectations. Encouragingly, Tarsus revealed that its target to derive 50% of its revenue from Emerging Markets by 2013, Project 50/13, had been completed over a year ahead of schedule through organic growth and acquisitions. WHAT WE LIKE Over the last three years the shares, up more than 80% have consistently outperformed the market, mirroring the company's continued Tarsus Group (TRS) Increasing Emerging Markets Exposure FTSE Small Cap Share price: 21.5p Market Cap: £206m www.tarsus.com Estimates (Dec) 2012 (E) 2013 (E) 2014 (E) Revenues (£m) 50.1 71.5 54.6 PBT (£m) 13.9 22.8 16.0 EPS (p) 11.4 18.5 12.6 P/E (x) 18.9 11.6 17.0 Dividend (p) 6.6 6.9 7.3 Yield (%) 3.0 3.2 3.4 Source: FactSet Research Systems consensus forecasts, Analyst: Derren Nathan growth. 2012 forecasted PBT of £13.9m equates to a four year CAGR of 25%. Whilst the recent strategy has been to build the platform, the focus is now switching to maximising the return from the company's operational assets in high growth markets or 'quickening the pace' of EPS growth, principally by driving visitor growth and further increasing USA and Emerging Market revenue share. As demonstrated by the 51% acquisition of Indonesian exhibition organiser PT Infrastructure Asia on 16th January, Tarsus is still in the market for opportunistic bolt on acquisitions. On a blended 2013/14 P/E multiple of 14.3x, Tarsus trades at a small premium to its peers. Given the new strategic phase and exposure to growth economies we believe there is scope for upgrades to forecasts. The shares also yield 3%. | battlebus2 |
