24/6/2021 09:05 | Outstanding orders 34mil against 10 last year. There is a good istorically margin that can be kept by increasing prices. You would be surprised about how much more money people were willing to spend for bikes and other equipment las year, and why not for the years to come. It is crazy to me how some people are scared here with growing revenues, demand, no debt, low P/E high profit margin and maybe bullish with some of those companies that had been talked yesterday, with high P/E high debt, and 1% 2% profit margin, as if inflation is not coming for them. | gabrielsant
24/6/2021 09:01 | we added 30% to all our firework trade accounts and it was taken on the chin. Either you want stock at the new price or you don't get it. Its that simple. false market here went for 10,000 at 570 and offered 100 shares | castleford tiger
24/6/2021 08:51 | So are you saying the average selling price of a bike is £160 to get to your 25% increase in retail price you mentioned I would have thought double that and very much higher when electric bikes taken into account. | amt
24/6/2021 08:41 | Thats what I think based on what I'm seeing. I would imagine every bicycle being shipped this month will have eventually have £40 of its retail going on shipping. This means in some instances certain lines that have to compete at the lower end of the spectrum will even be sold at a loss. This is because existing retailers with stock cannot mark them up quick enough. Inflation takes a long time to work through supply chains. I appreciate others would prefer to take the opposite view, however thats what I am seeing with my own imports. | my retirement fund
24/6/2021 08:24 | Mrf yes you are well out. Sales growth was almost 30% if you add in the delayed shipments. Second half will be very strong. A great buying chance in my opinion. Margin May fall to 30% but eps will grow. | castleford tiger
24/6/2021 08:17 | You are way out if you think that my retirement fund. A few percentage points on the selling price would maintain margins. I doubt direct costs have gone up c. 50% | amt
24/6/2021 08:14 | Margins wont recover any time soon, lot worse to come, price increases cannot be passed on quick enough, you need a YOY 25% hike in retail prices of bikes to compensate for what's currently going on. | my retirement fund
24/6/2021 07:41 | Big slow down in revenue growth from 24% to 14% since May? If margins could be down why do we expect eps growth? | solooiler
24/6/2021 07:37 | Forward orders equal to market capitalisation. | balcony
24/6/2021 07:28 | CT, In your opinion is there any visibility on if, how and when the container issue will abate please? | shanklin
24/6/2021 07:18 | Good update. Another excellent year so far and looking good ahead despite the pandemic impact on supply. Well done Tandem. | amt
24/6/2021 07:18 | Containers issues is so true. Actually being in a business and facing these challenges gives me a head start. We paid $30,000 for some containers last week to bring fireworks in against $4800 last year. It adds 30% to cost of product but customers have accepted due to shortages. At TND sales would be much higher if the finished goods stuck at port had been shipped. Order book 3 x last year. No end to bike boom which will last into early 23 I think. I think first half could be closer to 40 p eps and if we get these goods moving we might hit 60 p second half. Whatever the industry if you import these headwinds are for us all and causing inflation. I remain of the opinion we see £10 by results in March 22 | castleford tiger
23/6/2021 19:19 | Lets see what tomorrow brings | bwm2
23/6/2021 18:53 | Good job just now on the stockslam | scooper72
23/6/2021 18:34 | Up to now the best company, with the best numbers, and last but not least the best guest speaker! You have been great! | gabrielsant
23/6/2021 15:05 | This seems to be the music. But if I remember correctly there were headwinds last year, before this became more than a 3 bagger | gabrielsant
23/6/2021 14:22 | I expect headwinds in the report that I will touch on tonight. That said I am comfortable with us exceeding last years 1/2 time results. I do expect a very strong 3 rd quarter that was weak last year. tiger | castleford tiger
23/6/2021 13:53 | If history repeats, I expect good news from the AGM, but not as good as it'll be in the 1h report, since they have been always conservative with the guidance. I can't wait to watch CT today! Break a leg! | gabrielsant
22/6/2021 11:27 | It's 6-7:30pm. Register here: Look forward to seeing you CT. Your previous video on PIWORLD got me investigating Tandem in the first place and now I'm an investor. | w13ken
22/6/2021 10:27 | That I don't know yet. Think it starts at 6 for 1 hour | castleford tiger
22/6/2021 06:51 | CT Thanks for the heads up, I will tune in. What time do you anticipate being on parade? | bwm2
21/6/2021 18:55 | Iam slaming TND on PI world on Wednesday. A tough call the day before a trading update but I have my views and by the time I present the market will be closed. | castleford tiger
21/6/2021 13:31 | This low bids will need to rettifie their offers. Especially after the 1H results. 570 is really indecent under this conditions | gabrielsant

18/6/2021 07:56 | Tandem is more than Bikes!! 29 m for an asset backed company making 4:5 million a year. A D2c division growing fast. Sales up 24% after 5 months against a strong half last year. Mm shaking a tree when trading under 9 x last years profit | castleford tiger |
