pretty sure they have played down just how good first half is with reduction in costs and more direct sales and less FOB .

The shares should be 500p.

Strong market reaction and roll on the results.

David, agreed - nice to see them follow through on their commitment. I need to try and rearrange a couple of things to make it, but I'd encourage shareholders to go and support the new regime.

Checking the Company website he is listed as a joint holder with his wife under significant shareholders. I don't recall if this is a recent update or not

I think there is a limit to the time value of NEDs and after ten years they must certainly become totally wedded to the board so not independent enough IMO. If he has skills that are still important then he can be hired separately as a consultant rather than being a NED.
Personally I think as a consumer facing company with the majority of the products being purchased for the family we should increase the diversity on the board and try to find a highly suitable female applicant with social media and consumer product marketing experience. That would add balance to a board that has been male dominated for 30 years.
I would also like to see a shareholder representative as a NED and wondered whether Simon Bragg May have wanted to get involved so that negative episodes like the challenge to the articles at the Agm can be averted well before being made public as it would be someone constantly thinking what is best for shareholders rather than someone like Mervin who seemed to want a battle over the slightest thing !

We are in a good place now so the board and shareholders can unite and be positive. If Simon is not interested then I have a very good alternative shareholder option for consideration.

Tiger - agreed, me too. He was an NED with some consumer products expertise. Hopefully they can find someone with more recent experience and who will be more in tune with shareholders.

I haven't attributed any benefit from this scheme to my forcast

Who knows. Personally I think it's a temporary 2nd wind driven by publicity from the £50 government fraud scheme making headlines. Without any meaningful directors purchases coupled with the deflated AGM reprieve and the ongoing blatant systematic 'directors raping" history of the company cashsflows tells me to don the bargepole.

Pretty close I think
The price has just moved up again.
I have 500 p target with a big jump coming in September upon results
Margin improvement in first half and lots of re stocking in the 2 nd
This really could be a bumper year.
There is a chance of a bid to take us private .
The wide spread 20 p should not deter and only reason I am not buying is I don’t want to declare.
So if anyone wants 119 k shares at £5 send me a message
