16/4/2017 15:50 | It will be interesting to see how Charles Dunstone performs when he takes over the reigns. He has done a fine job at Dixons Carphone and does seem to know the business. The month of May I think is his start date. | leafysuburb

01/4/2017 07:25 | BT have been holding this country to ransom for decades. I initially thought Sharon White was s bit of s lightweight for the role of ofcom chief but she's fair starting to stick the boot into these robbing b@stards. | septimus quaid
31/3/2017 08:58 | "LONDON--The U.K.'s communications regulator Friday said it plans to cut the price telecommunications company BT Group PLC's (BT.A.LN) infrastructure business Openreach can charge other telecoms companies for its high speed broadband network. Ofcom plans to reduce the charge from 88.80 pounds ($111) a year to GBP52.77 by 2020-21. The reduction will likely be passed on to telecoms companies' customers, leading to lower bills, Ofcom said. Earlier this month BT reached an agreement with Ofcom that will result in Openreach, which provides cable infrastructure for BT and other telecoms companies, becoming a legally separate company with its own board and management". | muscletrade
31/3/2017 08:23 | So Talk will now pick up its share of a £300m BT fine and now will also have approx 40% reduction in costs from openreach over the next 3 years. shorters will be a little anxious now. | muscletrade

29/3/2017 10:23 | Re The OFCOM findings and large fine for BT. It would appear to me that TalkTalk would now have very strong grounds to start civil/corporate litigation against BT for loss of income, unfair market practices and very significant financial compensation. Share price has been perking up since return of Sir Charles in an Executive capacity combined with BT getting a major slap on the wrists and the separation of Openreach. Good also to see Talktalk significantly hotting its marketing campaigns up again. After a couple of years in the wilderness, it seems that a rapid rehabilitation for TalkTalk is underway as the operating environment turns positively in its favour. Very encouraging. ALL IMO. DYOR.
