|Revised Offer 280p see RNS|
|SP at 284p, the circular for the bid is out at 270p, and no other news???|
|Someone believes there may be further action? Price up 272.5p.|
|It looks pretty much tied up.
"European Gaming has also received irrevocable undertakings to vote in favour of the Special Resolution to be proposed at the Talarius EGM in respect of a total of up to 20,587,647 Talarius Shares, representing approximately 45 per cent."
But it may change if
"the value of such third party offer exceeds 275 pence per Talarius Share"
The final action, unless there is another offer, is for early February 2007. You can sell now at a little under the price and pay the dealing commission or wait and get the deal with no dealing commission. But Santa may come with a better offer!
|In the blurb
"While another party has expressed an interest in Talarius, no firm proposals
other than the Proposals described in this Announcement have been received by
the Talarius Directors. "
So another bid possible?|
|Looks like a dundeal - no counterbid likely?|

Quicksilver may be taken private
BY JOE BOLGER
Quicksilver, the largest high street slot machines chain in Britain, could be taken private after its parent admitted that it had received a bid approach. Shares in Talarius, the acquisitive AIM-listed gaming group that owns the Quicksilver business, rose 23p to 260½p.
The suitor is thought to be a private equity house. Analysts suggest that Duke Street Capital is a possible buyer. The approach is not thought to be management-backed.
Duke Street emerged as a rival bidder to Talarius in the battle this year to buy Top Ten Holdings, Britain's third- largest bingo clubs operator. Talarius - a Latin word referring to playing with dice - floated on AIM at 80p a share in April last year. It listed as a cash shell with the intention of leading the consolidation of the "adult gaming" industry.
The following June it agreed a £39 million reverse takeover of RAL, a management buyout from Rank led by Nick Harding, now chief executive of Talarius.|

With EPS at 6.02p - more than half of full year estimates, and taking into account the positive outlook and like for like sales growth in the second half, and especially the growth of Cyberslotz, I can see anlaysts upgrading full year forecasts.
|There is an article in Shares magazine, of last thursday, which may help judge the results. Regret I am away from base and cannot reproduce here. But Share price certainly is looking good.|
How are we going to judge that? (Genuine query)
2006 forecasts, for the full year are EPS of 11.82p and equating to profit of £8.04 million.
Are you halfing those figures and expecting them to be exceeded by the interims stage?|
Result will be better than market expectation. I expect the share to move up on it with some good write up in the press. I am in the stock and NOT ramping it. The company has good people behind it and looks very cheap. The 19th will confirm my views.|
|Toggle - no idea...just like the price rise.
|My apologies re the 19th... Very strong pre results price rise which indicates great expectations??? Will they be met or not???|
|Interims not 15th but 19th according to their trading statement in August.
|Nice rise today so far ... Interims on 15th ... in a weeks time|
