09/7/2003 09:53 | This one is moving and shaking again. Filled its gap at 61 and now heading higher? | techair
18/6/2003 11:51 | Still moving up and on a 12 month high this morning with several big crosses going through June 18, 2003 TIMES Talking Points Smaller stock to watch THE admission by Synstar that it is in talks with Japan's Fujitsu on a five-year contract worth up to £200 million sent shares in the IT services group up 5½p to 65p. If landed, the deal would make Fujitsu Synstar's biggest customer, eclipsing its £120 million agreement with CSC of the US. The contract is thought to entail logistics services, whereby Synstar ensures that a spare part arrives at a required location at the same time as Fujitsu's installation engineer. | innfinnity

17/6/2003 14:08 | I was tempted to sell when the last results were merely satisfactory with limited forward promise of progress. Like you, miles, I felt the management had a good grip on the co and that it was fairly safe. This news is far more like what I had hoped for, so glad still to be in! We didn't get a breakout on the results, but given over 7months trading in a very narrow 56 - 64p range this now looks very likely imho. Upwards of course. (DYOR) | boadicea

01/6/2003 12:14 | The Times newspaper was today very bullish about this stock. I think these results and the introduction for the first time of the divi will start attracting new investor interest. Good luck all, starting to look very good now imo | wally123
01/6/2003 00:52 | Also, a "Fairly Priced" tag given by the IC yesterday. | dcb
01/6/2003 00:04 | Good write up over on Citywire.co.uk also a brief mention in Mail today, all positive, any other press? | bigwig
31/5/2003 18:42 | Wally 123 IC comment, plus full article, was posted on IC online yesterday after results, but good luck to you. I have no vested interest. | dcb
31/5/2003 16:57 | As the IC comment was written pre results and they never get anything right im in for some more monday!. Should see the £1 broken fairly quickly now especially with the nice divi they mentioned being finalised. I must read the mail and the Citywire comment, its starting to look very good this one | wally123
30/5/2003 19:43 | Worth keeping a close eye on in my view. | interglobe
30/5/2003 13:53 | second half is stronger. Figures are good and the introduction of an end of year divi makes it an even better play. I will interested to see if we get any press reports the weekend on this one. Should be trading up to the £1 level shortly imo | wally123
30/5/2003 08:17 | Although the figures look quite good at first sight, I note that the eps at 1.6p compares with 2.1p for the 2nd half of last year (i.e. 3.4 - 1.3p). Is it an expected effect that more profit falls into the 2nd half? | boadicea
29/5/2003 10:41 | This will be 67 then 68p shortly looking at L2, not much stock left now at 65p just the one m/m on it. Lets hope results due out shortly are in line with forecasts | wally123
29/5/2003 10:32 | we are about to break out again on L2, looking superb | wally123
28/5/2003 16:13 | Same where worth a dabble i reckon, fundamentals look good , nice cash flow and over recent times have been tipped in shares magazine ( is that good !!). nice rise today though, keep watching. | singing the blues
28/5/2003 15:44 | Ive just taken a position on this one. I notice frequent trader also rates as a buy and thinks this is breaking out of its resistance and will trade 75-85p very quickly. Results are due out shortly so now might be a good time to get in. Worth a go anyway imo | wally123
15/5/2003 10:30 | InterGlobe - I'm glad someone else is watching this one. As I commented (other thread) a couple of days ago, SYN just needs a little push to get it firmly into new territory. It's rather teetering on the brink which means a couple of bad days in the market might set it back for months. Results, I believe, are expected on 30th May. Hopeful anticipation that these will show further progress could do the trick. Dealingwise, I note the spread is often large, varying from 1 to 4p at different times - currently 3p as I write. This makes it relatively unattractive for short-term trading. When it goes, it could perform quite well with no obvious psychological impediment to a 15p rise. All imho and dyor. | boadicea
14/5/2003 07:45 | SYN seem to building a solid base to move forwards once again do they not ? | interglobe
13/5/2003 08:33 | Another penny or so on price and this may have potential for good advance imho. | boadicea
31/3/2003 09:36 | Today's news, not exactly exciting but appears to support analysts predictions for earnings etc. Capital revaluations, write-downs, goodwill etc (non cash-flow) could always appear additionally in final accounts. | boadicea |
