05/3/2004 11:33 | DoobRizla Many thanks for your reply, my goal is long term hold but the downward trend just concerned me, hence the post to you. regards. | kammaljit
05/3/2004 11:07 | kammal You need to ask yourself why you bought in. Synstar keep signing new contracts and for all money, look sound. We are not going to know about Computacenter until it is signed. Could be anytime and you would therefore have to be in it to win it. If, or how long, this will take - nobody knows. Good luck | doobrizla
04/3/2004 15:00 | DoobRizla Any details of when this computacentre news may be released, Ive seen my share keep on reducing from a high of 78p Should i be worried? regards | kammaljit
04/3/2004 14:00 | Its 2 v 2 at the moment, but I agree, that ain't gonna help much. Think the market is waiting for news from Computacenter. Not much gonna happen until there is (except maybe fall 1p a day until there is news...) | doobrizla
04/3/2004 08:43 | L2 doesn't really help in these situations - just a st tool | maut too
04/3/2004 08:33 | Anth21 I share your hope that some positive news makes SYN go to giddy heights, have you access to L2, maybe you can throw some light onto this downward trend? regards | kammaljit
29/2/2004 20:11 | I still believe there is something to the rumours about Synstar being a targget for Computercenter. The share price went ballistic last Monday but has continually fallen since then.. If the marker makers were so keen to buy shares at 82.00p on Monday what has changed since then? Looks to me like the market makers have happily shaken the tree and forced the weak sellers to release their shares. The volumes seem to vary quite markedly also. Some days these are about 150,000 or so, but on others they shoot towards 1,000,000 or over. The bid speculation isn't new, as Computercenter were looking to buy in the year 2000 but the company was then valued at £250million. Obviously it is worth considerably less now, but significantly has much brighter prospects thanks to some very good contracts. I am hopeful that something will emerge within the next few months, we will wait to see if I am right. | anth21
28/2/2004 12:14 | Short article with Synstar CEO - dated 25 feb 04 | doobrizla
26/2/2004 12:09 | that's life sometimes ... I don't see them going to 600p in the next few weeks but can see a £ by next results | maut too
26/2/2004 12:08 | maut too. Thanks. img have more shares than syn, turnover is about one tenth as much, no dividend, about a quarter of the cash that syn is holding, showing a loss on their interims, shareprice currently showing at 122p on the bid...???? It was a toss-up as to which one I bought, when they were both in the 60p/70p range. : (( | intco
26/2/2004 11:25 | :-)) mm's are a little red today but vols are very light and there is a tendancy for this share to drift on no news | maut too
26/2/2004 10:16 | Sold out yesterday. Think these rumours might be just that - plenty of selling - so happy to take a decent profit and move on. Probably be a takeover announced tomorrow - but as they say a profit is a profit. Luck all. | robbie12
24/2/2004 21:05 | Looking at other tech stocks PTL, RTD, VAN etc. SYN got off quite lightly. Not to worry unless tomorrow brings more of the same. . . | tinker
24/2/2004 08:48 | No idea what is happening to this but glad to back at the buy in levels after all these months - following the papers comments on the directors buying a lot of shares - anyone any views from here? | octopus100
23/2/2004 15:55 | Ho hum. Takeover must be happening - how else could the price be going up like this - market makers happy to accumulate at 82 - so must be a big buyer. | robbie12
23/2/2004 15:30 | Bid price 82.00 and Offer 82.75. Cor blimey!!!!!!!!! | anth21
23/2/2004 15:29 | it has the feel of a bid coming or at least v good news | maut too
23/2/2004 15:24 | Nice MM buy. Would seem the rumours are true! At least the spread has closed | doobrizla
23/2/2004 15:09 | more buying - ratio of at least 4:1 ... still moving and now a new three year high | maut too
23/2/2004 15:08 | Some fun and games going on with the price behind the scenes. I still think there is more to a possible takeover than just rumour. Guess we will have to wait and see what happens!! | anth21
23/2/2004 15:06 | moving up a little fster and approaching the 3 year high | maut too
23/2/2004 14:47 | ticking up a little on above average volume indeed it was - note the delayed trade immediately afterwards - clearly connected | maut too
23/2/2004 12:45 | is that mm buy (230000) at nearly the full asking price? | jay178 |
