11/11/2015 14:11 | Unfortunately I do hold Duncan. I am not proud of that fact. But happy to leave this thread to tell you the truth. Good luck all holders. This could be a cracking turnaround story over the next four months and beyond. | deltrotter
11/11/2015 14:05 | Sorry? Is anything I said not true.If you don't like it, sod off del.To tell you the truth I am not convinced you hold any here anyway. | duncandisorderly

11/11/2015 11:56 | I am spending some time having a look here and on ADVFN after becoming bored with the LSE asylum. This is quite an unusual and perverse thread which leaves me little to comment on, as the resident host duncandisorderly undertakes a much more negative view, summary and deramp than I ever could muster up.I am now neither short, nor long, but keeping my treasured Scythe sharp just in case. Carry on the good work Mate and thank you! x | the grim reaper1
11/11/2015 11:28 | I have given these free shares quite a bit of thought and, although I appreciate the award has been known about beforehand, I think it had become obvious by the time it was triggered that the trigger point was not quite right and that it was too soon or perhaps should have had a minimum share price trigger incorporated as well. In general I think the directors of British companies take way too much out of the pie and IMO it is one reason the FTSE still sits substantially below its 1999 peak - there simply is not enough left for shareholders after directors, advisors and other assorted hangers on have taken out their substantial cut. AIM is bad for this but even at FTSE100 firms I think there is now a trend of paying people entrepreneur wages for more menial roles (and of course without taking the risk). I am pretty much at the point where I don't want to invest in the stock market any more - it is obvious now that vested interests have taken over and it has become equally clear that the mug at the bottom of the chain is the shareholder. I think in that context the award here is of a piece. 10% of the company for a trigger that has turned out to be in the wrong place but they went ahead anyway and took it. I am holding my shares and I am still hopeful, of course, that Synety can grow into something big and very profitable. Indeed, if it does then the share award will IMVHO become justified and that is what I mean by saying the trigger was too soon. It is one thing to take out massive earnings at the expense of shareholders when all you are doing is watching the supertanker cruise across an empty sea but if the directors here grow a sustainable and profitable business they will probably deserve their rewards. Right now though it does not sit quite right with me. | the millipede
11/11/2015 07:25 | duncand, I see you could not contain yourself any longer! Keep taking the tablets. | 140661

10/11/2015 15:54 | It's of little surprise that we are slowly going backwards and I didn't think that was possible. There is never any news, nor new crm's,nor contract news.Perhaps the ceo should spend a lot less time shagging the staff and get on with the job in hand if the glassdoor statement holds any weight. | duncandisorderly
10/11/2015 10:46 | Little Beaker - FWIW I once had a boss like that. He made my life utterly miserable and I lasted six months at his company and left. But his awfulness as a boss absolutely did not stop the firm being a success and making fortunes for shareholders. (And just to clarify that by making this point I in no way intend to imply I agree with the assessment of Synety's CEO.) BWDIK TM | the millipede
05/11/2015 12:50 | Lol,that's not too good.I hope his other half doesn't read the message boards.I notice there has been quite a few sells lately or it could simply be the mm's moving stuff around. Hopefully Helium will be picking them up but it is sad that they have to rely on one Institution. The new NED is doing a top job,I have to say. | duncandisorderly
05/11/2015 12:03 | Found this gem on Glassdoor, hxxps://www.glassdoo "CEO loves firing people." Doesn't Recommend, Negative Outlook, Disapproves of CEO I worked at Synety full-time (More than a year) Pros Great perks, kitchen is nice, Christmas party is good if the ceo doesn't get too drunk. Cons CEO takes his personal problems out on his workforce. If his wife gives him a hard time he gives his staff hell or fires someone. If he's not already having an affair with them. Advice to Management Lose the ceo. Time for a board shake up. | little beaker
03/11/2015 11:27 | I see they have also updated the major shareholders to end October. It shows no changes to main shareholders from last update apart from Helium. The percentage held by shareholders over 3% and the board is approx.71%. | 140661
02/11/2015 13:52 | Just saw the following on Synety's website from 30 October: SYNETY, a leading cloud-based software and communications business, has announced that it has completed an integration of CloudCall with Salesforce Desk.com, the all-in-one customer service app for SMBs and fast-growing start-ups. Utilizing Desk.com's real-time agent interface empowers companies to instantly deliver exceptional customer support, through both traditional one-to-one communications, as well as social media interactions. 27/10/2015 11:39 | I seem to recall from SC that the new NED was here to get onboard some new institutional investors.Unless there is something going on in the background I have to say I'm not exactly impressed with her efforts thus far.She has been with Synety for two months now and the only interest we have seen has been from Helium.Perhaps it takes some time for them to ponder or perhaps she just isn't that great at her job.All I can say is that if she isn't up to the mark, get rid of her and get someone else and don't have yet another hanger-on. | duncandisorderly
24/10/2015 11:18 | I have a feeling that those 86 shares traded was a call with someone, possibly Helium wanting shares or perhaps I have been reading too many spy novels. On a good note I notice that the Goolgle chrome numbers are up to 1,827.It has been a slow burner but certainly heading in the right direction as week on week and month on month it has gradually risen.Soon we will hit the 2,000 mark. | duncandisorderly
22/10/2015 12:19 | I wonder if Helium have gone above the 15% brackets gents. We will find out tomorrow if they have. | duncandisorderly |
