Regardless, they are in amazing position. Would have been years before they got to Phase III with SNG0001 if it were not for these unfortunate circumstances.

Each case is a 14 day programme. The trail is for months not 14 days.

Based on the information from Timbo who contacted the company last week, it'll be far swifter.

The two week trial starts this week .... there is no delay recruiting patients or hospitals or physicians.

The full read outs for results will take longer but with Twitter now as a communication tool, I'm sure we'll hear something far earlier as a broad update, such as 'all patients doing well', etc

Have just spoken to RM, these are the main points:

* New study will look at 100 patients

* 50 patients will be on placebo , 50 on active

* Patients will be within the 20% most severely effected (but not ventilated)

* Patients will include young and old

* Two main measurements/end points NEWS2 and a WHO recognised nine point ordinal scale 0 (no infection) - 8 (dead)

* First dosing should be next week

* Treatment time: 2 weeks

* Could have initial read out within 2 months

The trial duration is 2 weeks ie Each patient will take the drug for 2 weeks
Recruiting suitable patients takes time (as they are identified ala scientific marketing) Usual starts slow, and then speeds up as all physicians are on board. Lets hope they recruit there last patient around week 3 or 4 then we can have data slightly earlier.

All will be eager to have results published ASAP

yet another final

The most likely news in the short term is the amendment of the COPD trial to include Covid 19 patients. I think thy need another 11 patients to finish the trial and they will be Covid 19 patients. That should be seen as very positive.

No chance of 2-3 weeks. They won't get the centres set up that quickly.

In the Uk, the trial will be done in two weeks, so I'm sure we'll get feedback then.

The interview mentioned that the results will take 8 weeks. But because of the global urgency, surely the Governments will want results asap?

This is going to be volatile but is bound to be higher ahead of the results IMHO. Yes there will be traders and indeed I trade around the edges but the real money is going to be made by holding here!

Don't get shaken out...
