NeilOn a serious note . I too have been cynical here .But become a little more positive at these levels .Is it blind optimism to look further into the Indo finance deal and what could mean or bring to the Co.Considering the higher share price paid by the chairman ?

Anyone looked at what the Co of the Chairman does of the recent investor does in Singapore http://www.indorama.com/productsYou can see why he has invested in Symphony .. I expect there will be more news to come with this tie up too

Jailbird,Have a look at the Symphony environmental website. On the homepage there is a short video explaining how D2W biodegradable plastic works by harmlessly converting plastic into carbon dioxide, water and biomass.

Are the BoD upto driving the opportunities ahead?

I am giving this this year to prove the BoD can deliver..especially 2nd half as already stated.

Like I said recent finance agreement at much higher prices has to be good news

The plastic pollution problem has only hit the headlines in the past year or so after David Attenborough’s blue planet. Up until then it was largely ignored by the general public and the extra cost of making plastic biodegradable was not that attractive. However one has to ask why is this company not now flying and/or been snapped up by others. Does their system work? Is it unique? Are there other competitors? Finally is the company lacking drive and ambition?

I grant the Co was up against the big boy lobbyists and legislation/regulation . So it takes time Just with plastic pollution such big news now , I would the hope the Co can exploit this opportunity which was not much in the media before

What SET have is a load of hot air which is not unique and does not do what it says on the tin. Had it they would have been a multi million pound Plc and not a lifestyle company for the benefit of a few useless BoDs imho

It hasn't changed any games in the last 15 years, isn't patented, it hasn't ever been copied by any other company, sales remain miniscule & mostly in the third world.

That give you a clue as to SYM's prospects?

Still have not been able to determine if fully biodegradeable - i.e. Compostable with no plastic nodules of any sort remaining - and also timeline -
