Liberum Capital is the company's house broker. It's their job to encourage trading in the shares.

The rns about c&m which will last about 1 month came in at about 2pm and the price fell with it.

Most SA based miners/producers are down today.

It will be even more interesting to see how the price reacts, surely the sellers knew SA was in lockdown, what will the buyer(s) do now?

Nimrod, thinking the same thing, this is on a pe of 1 roughly at pre covid prices. If there wqs anyone looking at SLP before, they will be licking their lips now. If they shut down for a month, prices go up, no supply but China is back up and running again.

With such a large Chinese presence in Africa, it wouldn't surprise me if SLP was a takeover target; if they are allowed to own mining ops there.
Although the number of shares sold appears to be higher than the buys. Maybe there are many undisclosed buys; something in the wind...

Isn’t SLP’s total operation in S Africa! So total shutdown and the price rises 16%
Hahmmm, wonder how long that will last.
