There's no prediction required! They've already given the unaudited H2 figures in the Q4 trading statement. Combined with H1 figures gives c$30m EBITDA & c$17m Net Profit.

What we don't know yet is:

- production guidance for FY20. Don't think they will be able to do 4x Q4 = 22koz but hoping for 75-80koz guidance.

- Current pricing. You would think that current 4E spot pricing is highly advantageous to the company vs FY19 but they don't always get exactly spot prices and in Q4 lower byproduct pricing hurt their average basket price.

- Cash Cost guidance. Recent ZAR weakness should certainly help keep costs low in $, though may be partially offset by higher wage deals etc.

It's the future guidance that should accompany the results that is important not the figures themselves.

What are people's predictions for the results for this one.

You have to hold something, unless you eat it all.

If the alternative is holding Sterling through Johnson's forthcoming shenanigans, I'd rather stick with underpriced profitable commodity producers for at least a chunk of my assets.

Would not be holding anything with a recession looming Scary stuff and normally I would expect a bounce but not this time

PGM pricing a bit weaker so maybe a reaction to that combined with people running tight trailing stops.

4E basket for SLP is still up 27% in ZAR since February. Don't think 20Q1 will be quite as good as Q4 on the production front, delivering double-digit increases in both feed & recovery was simply phenomenal and probably won't be repeated.

Think we will have to wait for Results announcements for FY20 Production Guidance but if they can keep the Q4 momentum, and barring water issues, going forward I don't see why they can't do 80koz, which at current pricing should be somewhere between £30-35m net profit vs an EV less than £80m.

China export a crazy amount of PGM's in the form of finished products and parts for end use.

I didn't think China exported any PGMs of any value. I thought it's predominantly South Africa, Zimbabwe and Russia (by-product of the Nickel operations).

Are you not thinking of Rare Earth Metals that China are the major exporter of?

yes it would mean that the prices for these minerals would be higher.
