29/7/2021 14:08 | Thanks for the welcome...I don't have multiple aliases and neither do i waste time on pointless posts. I am a fairly large investor here and have been waiting for the seller to clear which my broker confirmed was done last Friday 23rd July check out the trades on that day. This next period Q4 will be a cracker as far as the company news flow and share-price is concerned. | sce investor
29/7/2021 13:42 | The cynic in me thinks SCE Investor uses different monikers elsewhere on ADVFN Bwyfdik | toffeeman

29/7/2021 13:25 | Brembo raises FY forecast after jump in H1 core profit July 29 - Italian premium brakes maker Brembo BRBI.MI raised its full-year guidance on Thursday after posting a 88.6% increase in core earnings for the first half of 2021, while margins increased to 19.9% from 15.1% a year ago. Brembo, which makes brakes for automakers including Ferrari RACE.MI and Tesla TSLA.O as well as several Formula One teams, also said it expects solid order levels in the coming months while it keeps monitoring the impact of the pandemic-driven global chips shortage. The company now expects full-year revenues to increase between 20% and 25% and margins on core earnings to reach about 19.5%. | charlie9038
29/7/2021 13:12 | First time posting on here just spoken to my Broker who is very keen on this stock and is expecting a share-price much higher from these levels fairly soon. The overhang in the stock was finally cleared last friday so leaves the runway clear for a substantial move up....I note that Tesla are back at the Nurburing looking to break the 7 minute barrier with the new Plaid model i wonder whose brakes they are using???:-) | sce investor

18/7/2021 16:12 | Interesting news story from yesterday about an SCE business development manager trying to get out of Germany during the flooding..... "The 40-year-old, who is business development manager at Surface Transforms in Liverpool, was in Germany to discuss distribution deals for the high-performance brake discs the company makes for supercars such as Ferrari and Lamborghini." "He was due at the famous Nürburgring motorsports complex but decided to return home when the weather took a turn for the worse and the track was closed." | rivaldo
16/7/2021 10:49 | For the time being I'm not sure SCE's customers will announce that they are using SCE's brakes. It's not really in their interests to name suppliers unless the specific component suppliers name adds considerable gravitas to the car and thus it becomes a selling point. For the moment I think we will always have to make educated guesses on who is using what based on the look of the brakes, launch dates, little hints from Surface and articles from the press and motoring journalists etc. At least until such time as SCE's brakes develop a worldwide reputation as the "must have" brakes in any performance or medium/high end car. At that point naming Surface Transforms would become a selling feature. Unless of course the customer decides to do it the other way around and make it an immediate selling feature by creating a buzz around what it adds to the car. | albert_einstein
16/7/2021 10:46 | As far as I was aware AM are happy to be known to use ST brakes and the announcement by them re: Valhalla was made some time ago.I believe Brembo are supplying the brakes for the race version of the Valkyrie (Pro), as ST chose not to bid for that supply on top of the road version. | longshanks
16/7/2021 10:11 | Not a secret, look at the 4th paragraph from the end in the comments below David Bundred 22.06.2020 in the header. Edit, Also in the list of Customers under OEM 6. Delayed from 2021. | bdaonion
16/7/2021 09:44 | Interesting! Amt on the first reading I wondered if bdaonion's post yesterday was too specific. I as much as anyone believe here on this bulletin board we should honour ST by sticking to the OEM codes where information is not yet in the public domain - and the OEMs themselves have yet to make an announcement. However all bdaonion was pointing out was a new car announced by Aston Martin where he has read that it is to be equipped with carbon ceramic brakes. The Aston Martin Valkyrie news has long been publicised. You could argue that if the Valhalla's brakes are not ST's it is still news worthy here because it is yet another example of a developing carbon ceramic brake disc market. I'll shut up now except to say I have read a quote that whilst price and availability are not yet confirmed there is a suggestion Valhalla could be priced between £600,000 and £700,000 with the possibility a thousand cars could be made over a two year period. Nice work if we can get it! Totally speculative on my part - but speculation isn't totally ruled out on this board. Fils | fillspectre
16/7/2021 08:49 | This article contains a close up photo of one of the Valhalla’s wheels. Brake disc clearly on view with big yellow calliper. Does it look like an ST disc? | bones
16/7/2021 08:20 | What a stunning looking car the Valhalla is. | albert_einstein
16/7/2021 07:35 | Anyone who does some decent research can see the prospects are tremendous but they can't mention them due to confidentiality. Amazed the share price has fallen back to absolute bargain territory. | amt
16/7/2021 07:32 | Yes but not sure you should be mentioning specific cars. Enough clues out there to know.Best to remove the specific detail in fairness to SCE | amt
15/7/2021 23:03 | A recent presentation showed 2024 for the next prospective model from OEM6 but they look and sound like our brakes. | quemaster
15/7/2021 21:51 | Anyone interested in the Aston Martin Valhalla launched today, with 2023 SOP? Has carbon ceramic matrix brake discs. | bdaonion

09/7/2021 17:19 | There's a difference between the Model S brakes and those on the Roadster....at least on these models. | cheese666
09/7/2021 15:33 | re the above diecast model : are they ours ? look like shiny metal ?!! | leoboy

09/7/2021 09:31 | Given the positive outlook I am surprised at the current weakness in the share price. | spookies |
