Going by the strengthened distributor network, I am presuming that the increase in first half revenues has been from sales to the racing aftermarket and I would expect this to continue seeing double-digit growth for some time to come.

However, it is worth remembering that the Hardman note in March indicates FY revenues for 2020 will be £7.3m. This is based on existing OEM contracts and as guidance has not changed, it would seem that the next six months will see a dramatic change in production and revenue. In this respect, it is encouraging to see the comment that OEM cell 1 will be ready.

One unexpected benefit of the strong albeit smaller contribution made by the aftersales team, is that if sales continue to ramp up there too, the FY results may see the company much closer to profitability than previously expected.

The company continues to confidently predict that new OEM contracts are imminent and whilst the timing of these is largely outside their control, I am sure that this confidence is rooted in the strength of the ongoing discussions and testing.

The share price has drifted down in recent months on little news and slowing volume. This may well continue but I feel that news of just one new contract will see it surging to new highs so I am happy to sit on my hands and wait.

Sounds even more positive with several contacts instead of one before year end. I expect they are very close to announcing a contract and then a couple more before ye so £1 plus by year end perhaps

Looks good, but amazing they can get an unexpected uplift of 34% in revenues and not give even the merest hint where it came from.

Forward vision from DB who is usually very conservative most encouraging - but share price still very forward looking and needs the OEM contracts signed to validate the expectations

" David Bundred (Chairman) commented: "This encouraging sales performance, does not yet include the impact of previously announced contract wins. As previously reported, we anticipate a ramp up of revenues from our new OEM contracts in the final quarter of 2021. In parallel, we are most encouraged by the strategic progress made on further contract opportunities. Similarly, positive progress has been made with regard to equipment installation. The combination of these factors enable the Company to reiterate that it remains on track to report a profit before tax in 2022, with further significant growth contracted for many years thereafter.""

When DB and team next present via IMC maybe should be asked how discussions are developing with EV manufacturers - As EV adoption (imo) will be the future for a potential multiplier of current valuation - PROVIDED we can avoid or fight off the current invasion of American vultures.

An encouraging H1 update today, with revenues up 34% and exceeding expectations, and most importantly:

"Progress with potential OEM customers

The Company is pleased to report continuing progress with regard to both customer discussions and product testing; Accordingly, the Board still expect to announce significant further contract wins with both new and existing OEM customers in the current financial year."

Production ramp-up is going smoothly and revenues will scale up in this Q4. No slip-ups, and everything looks good:

I don't think we are close to having brakeless cars but with carbon ceramic you have the assurance they are there, that they will work when required, the benefit of 70% weight reduction as compared to iron brakes, plus no brake dust.
It's just a matter of time until more contracts arrive, they've more or less stated that every day is a day nearer those contracts, I've been here si sce 2016 and have no intention of selling at this price, this story is just getting to the exciting part!

Bagpuss, that's my concern, too. Volvo is advertising 'one pedal driving' which I practice on my Tesla. However, you want the brakes to be there, and work, when you need them. On one of the more recent SCE presentations they mentioned how steel brakes corrode through lack of use and there is a real risk of poor performance in an emergency.

Agreed, nothing concrete since OEM8 in September 2020 but expectations have since been flagged regarding OEM9 and three other new OEM’s. Underneath all of those are the existing relationships.

This price dip seems to be an opportunity to grab some more because if just one of the many prospects in the pipeline gets announced, there would be a solid move north, IMO.

Asserting incredible lack of break wear in Teslas. And by inference I assume other powerful electric cars. Could it be significant for the break market?

We had one of the new Non Execs buying in reasonable size at 66.5p and 67p.

Would be good if the other followed suit in the low 60s.......
