Thanks for all the investment ideas guys.....I've picked out a few aim stocks, but what I'm really after is main market listed high risk/high return stocks (like sps!) for my ISA portfolio.

Suggestions welcome.

If that is the true and fair view, it would appear the directors reckoned there was no great future remaining independent.

Well guys, accepted offer last week, don't know when I will receive the cash, but one thing certain it's not going back into mobile game shares.

Did anyone watch the money program on bbc2 the other night.
Boiler room guys etc.
Almost, but not quite like this outcome!! At least we got something out of it!

Paul, In no particular order Mediwatch,Flomerics,Vialogy,Corac,Imagination Tech, KBC Advanced Tech, Redhall.I have learnt the hard way (sps)not to have all my eggs in one basket. Some mentioned will be short term punts others longer term and you will note there is not a single mobile games developer amongst them. ( -;

Received cash from TDW in my account this morning.

Take a look at Kenmare Resources (KMR).

All the best guys - I guess the report from GLU on Monday is going to drive a dagger through our hearts however as said earlier without the GLU bid the share price would probably be under 5p IMO.

A few investment ideas from me - as usual dyor - cost, aie,eo., and blvn

cost (construction) - finals exceeded expectations, returned to dividend list after 17 years, director buying last week, good backlog for this year. Also property assets in spain may provide upside. Weaknesses: construction margins tend to be thin and project mistakes can wipe out profits and create large losses, building division may suffer if downturn is prolonged.

aie (IT) - directors undertaking strategic review to increase shareholder value; significant sharebuybacks underpinning price at present; part of their it business is for local/central govt which may hold up in a downturn.
Weaknesses: downturn may impact wireless and travel business.

eo. (oil and gas) - interesting play with experienced E & P team and identified gas storage offshore site. E & P is a low risk approach by identifying prospects and then farming them out in return for being carried in their expenditure. In total, eo. will participate in about 10 drilled prospects in the next year or so. Gas storage facility is a very exciting opportunity with large upside potential; Recent dicovery still being appraised. This is being evaluated at the present time as to whether it will be split off or sold. Management team with significant equity in the business; Cash level is high which will support business for some time. Acquisitive company and may present opportunities to acquire cash strapped e & p companies that will find it difficult to raise more capital in these markets.
Weakness: Lack of discoveries may undermine model.

Blvn (oil and gas) - outlook statement "Our business is of course one of potentially high risk and high reward. Our
approach is to recruit and maintain a very high calibre and motivated team, to
be highly professional in assessing and managing the risks and rewards in our
operations - such that our prospects are maximised.

The outlook is positive for your Company. I believe that we have the management
team and asset base that can provide us with significant opportunities for
success in creating value for shareholders"

I really do thank you for your many years of diligent research on SPS and hope we meet up again on some other company bb,I've already noticed a few of the other SPS posters popping up on bb's of companies where I have or intend to take a financial interest.

Cheers and good luck.

For those looking to put their money somewhere, you won't get much better than Tepnel Lifesciences,(TED),imo. Their recent full-year results were excellent. A potential high growth situation. 9.5p to buy (£21m mcap). Needless to say I am heavily invested (but PDYOR!).

nellyb,

Yes either sell in the market on 7/8 April or I expect they will still accept laggards after this supposedly' final' acceptance date (otherwise how do the MMs dispose of their shares?).

PM,

They're hardly likely to be doing this to flag losses!
