... and all the costs associated with maintainng a listing to boot.
Not a great advert for AIM.
Raise over £10.5m, presumably live the life of a hig-flying executive, and all that's left to show for it is a loss making outfit, valued at about £700,000 with goodness knows what cash needs in the coming 12 months.

I wonder if we can muster a shareholder revolt over the BOD pay, bring it in line with the huge profits they make, who's up for fight, lets kill them.

Hadn't looked in here for ages ... +25%, but as that's just recovering yesterday's losses, and there's (still) no news to digest, I guess it's still a case of the fat lady diong her warming up exercises.

I observe, but not an investor - still not proved there is a viable business model here, and every announcement seems to end with a "but we're confident next year will be better..."

This company is only being run at the benefit of the BOD, they are the only ones that seem to be making any money, rest of us, PI's are just cannon fodder.

Perhaps a new metric companies should be forced to declare is:

Total Directors remuneration as a fraction of the Market Capitalisation.

Supercart could possibly be the top of one chart at least?

From the annual report deposited in November, isn't it good to see the prudent approach directors are taking to their own rewards?

In the 12 months ended December 2009, Michael Wolfe "earned" £533,000 ... but in the 18 months to June 2011, this was reduced to a mere £326,000 - I do hope he is managing ok on such a meagre package.

Stephen Wright saw his 12 month earnings to Dec 09 of £129,000 slightly reduce in terms of pro rata to a mere £172,000 for the 18 months to June 11.

The reductions are still not in line with the rewards shareholders have "enjoyed" over the same period, but it is good to see executive remuneration heading in the right direction - must be good cause to give them a bonus next year I'd have thought.

Will the directors award themselves extra bonus for the 2011 performance of not having to raise further capital?

Maybe if they had been paid in shares only form day 1 the company would be in a much better state of affairs.

Still think the idea is sound, but why they haven't managed to translate a good idea into a good business ... well, that's usually down to the quality of management in my mind.

It is also littered with life changing investment opportunities. The prowess of the investor to sift through and find the good from the bad is what sorts the winners from the losers.

I always take into account the rewards the management offer themselves, and you can probably find countless posts by me on BBs where the rewards appear to be out of line.

This is one of the few I had on watch (RFID is one of my specialities!), so feel qualified to pass comment having witnessed the lack of progress of the business, and the ever present "things are looking good..." sign off to any RNS.

I'm not saying these will not come good, investing is a personal thing which one must weigh up the risks and potential rewards, but this will not see any of my hard earned in its current state, that is for sure.

While I agree to a point, some fledgeling companies will be loss making for a period while the business is formed, the intellectual or physical property is developed etc.

However, there are far too many examples (especially on AIM) of companies which have rewarded management and the BoD far too much when compared to the return shareholders (the owners) have seen over the same period.

A name and shame list would obviously provide a level of incentive for all?

The RNS on 22nd and the resulting holding suggests around 148.5m in issue.

Good to see the CEO buying nearly £3500 worth, massive vote of confidence!?*?!

Most of his 9.66m shares will have been easy to buy with the money he has repeatedly "earned" over the last few years. One would question whether his earnings have kept in line with the achievements, especially in terms of enhanced value to the long suffering shareholders.

Raising over £10m and having a current value sub £2m is quite an achievement in itself in so much as it shows how good the fund raising team must be. Maybe of they had equally succesful sales team(s) across the globe, they might have started to achieve something quite spectacular as a business.

Who, out of the "shareholders", "institutional backers", "original VC" and "directors" has actually benefitted from the operation since inception? Answers on a postcard.
