Jon, if you are reading, can you remember which interview it was? Was near the end and he definitely said it. Have sifted for 45 mins here and it's driving me insane as can't find it.

It was quite a long interview I think with Sarah Lowther. Trying to find it here but can only find clips. Have they removed it?

"Money for mining will be needed" were his exact words. I posted the link several months back as the comment struck me. I'll be damned if I can find it but it's there somewhere

"I think "foreseeable future" perhaps didn't mean more than six months tbh Sheldrake. "

I think the gap between making that claim, and spending money drilling for silver and gold was under 6 months.

"I believe he was picked up on this then mentioned about funding needed for mining."

- do you have a pointer to where he did that? my recollection is that he said they were funded for the forseeable future (which in my view a reasonable person would interpret as meaning up until pozzolan production), then he started drilling for silver and gold and then in the webinar announced that unrefined pozzolan production could start for under a million... (this was definitely on one of the slides) but that they no longer had enough even to do that.

They raised a million on the hopes of taking this project to production, and then spent it on other things so that they were no longer able to take the project into any kind of production without further funding. This means that if they're currently negotiating a JV or something and it falls through people will laugh them out of their offices if they attempt to raise *another* million to get this stuff out of the ground.

I think "foreseeable future" perhaps didn't mean more than six months tbh Sheldrake. It's a pretty ambiguous statement and am actually surprised he hasn't raised again. I understand your frustration. I believe he was picked up on this then mentioned about funding needed for mining. I've never thought there was enough profit in the phase one route and provided my workings out on some costings a while back, however it's probably the best if not the only way for Sres to actually get to stage two, giving some companies a taster with the hope that the CMRC gets involved in a larger capacity. I agree wholeheartedly regarding metals. Personally that did it for me and I sold remainder of any position. I'm invested in others for proven metals and don't need anything with more exploratory risk/finance.This document may be of some interest to you..https://rioblancodevelopment.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Kelsey-Ranch-Mineral-Appraisal-2018-Confidential.pdf

"Well he did already state in interview he would need money for mining didn't he? "

Did that come after claiming to be fully funded for the forseeable future?

The last webinar still stated that unrefined pozzolan could be mined for less than a million. They raised more than that. The reasons for requiring more money now would be

a) They can't make a profit from selling unrefined pozzolan at todays' prices for reasons they weren't cognizant of when they said they were fully funded, but realized soon (within a few months) after

OR

b) They were fully funded until they started spending money on drilling for precious metals

OR

c) The money has been spent on something else.

OR

d) 'Fully funded for the forseeable future' was a misleading statement that didn't actually mean 'we have enough money now to get this pozzolan and perlite into production'.

Which of those do you think it was ? (genuine question. I'm very open to the idea it could be some combination, or that there's a possibility I've missed)

Well he did already state in interview he would need money for mining didn't he? So..Regarding metals. If I had been heavy I'd be really cheesed so I do understand that..It's come Sheldrake. A few samples out and one with any luck to a major...

Rod, I just don't understand this rhetoric of blaming PC for something that was clear to a few of us (humbly)? If you looked into Kirkland/Boral time line you'd have seen. We also had a covid pandemic on top. So many on LSE fail to blame themselves for not slicing, selling when they didn't read what was on the page yet throw it at PC. Of course those same people will be singing his praises when he does pull something off. Metals - he had in portfolio already and with the rising price he thought okay it's time to drill them up. Why? Because if he had struck a monster this is the time to flog them. You are talking 1100usd an ounce costings for gold approx so this is why he struck these at this time. Who knows re Baker's - it may bring something up. The precious metals game can be hit n miss as you well know. I do however understand Patrick's reasoning, even though I was disappointed the focus wasn't all on CS. Back to CS. If anything, it's an exciting time now with the restrictions starting to be lifted. He needs to get these samples to customers and my hope would be that one of them is a major that has it's eye on a JV or buyout. We will see. Someone on LSE was blaming him for the particle size mistake. These are natural teething problems with new equipment, limited boots on ground etcNothing has changed Rod. Just the time line that's all but am sure this year will see some better news. I'm not in but am I deramping? No. Am saying how it is as usual. The CS has value on phase 2 and good value at that. I can understand frustrations of investors but companies like these aren't made quickly and pandemics don't exactly help. You can't keep blaming others. It's wrong, it's not cricket and it's short sighted. I too will be back here at the right price and right time and when route/investment criteria are more transparent.

I just think they all missed on the time that it takes to trial mine Pete especially in these bizarre circumstances. This will come am sure in due course. I did think maybe he could be holding back on funding news because of the route he is possibly taking so this is also worth considering. I do agree with you wholeheartedly regarding metals and always have - this was a bit of a non starter imho

You are perhaps correct, and I do believe PC is very much an honorable man which is partly why i continue to invest here. Yes we can blame circumstance and for sure thats played a part however I think expectation setting is also key and in that respect I think there has been an over-egging of the situation. - We are where we are, LSE I see is going bonkers however the facts are that we do have an attractive asset that is fully permitted, NDAs and discussion I am convinced are taking place however I do think the additional drilling was a mistake - I understand why he did it however I think I would have focused 100% on CS and new perl in terms of proving all resources up to the fullest extent - thus making us an extremely attractive target - CS may well be sold (certainly my preference) however some additional investment here I would have thought would have helped the cause...

And he probably didn't intend to raise at the time. Patrick isn't the dishonest type. He's a humble unassuming type of man really. He was always certainly overly helpful and took extreme care, detail and time to reply to anything I ever asked even if he was abroad. I respect that greatly as most CEOs aren't like that.He just gets excited from what I can tell at times Again I'll never forget when he mentioned "rerate" in an interview and I really felt for him as there was no way there was going to be a rerate until firm contracts as that's what market really wants to see. That's all he needs really, contracts and share price should rate accordingly and hold. I truly think he sees the project and the enormity and value it could provide but perhaps underestimates the effect of raises, and what market may make of the journey to get there. That's why I keep urging him to get that route out for investors...Also it really does take time to get things cracking so I honestly don't have a negative word to say about the man.
