08/5/2008 12:23 | I hold a whole lotta shares here, but they're not worth much. I remain hopeful. | arf dysg
08/5/2008 12:06 | mmmmm. An annoncement and we are up!! Where has everybody gone here? Or is it I am the only one still investing in SDS. | nigthepig
28/4/2008 14:25 | 400,000 sold at 0.625p each - thats got to hurt! SP seems to be in terminal decline at the moment. Funding wise SDS seems to be ok until the end of the year, however past that not looking to good at the moment. Think the company really needs to get out some positive RNS to try and give the share price (and long suffering investors) a boost - yes this is a high risk share but I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of RNS outlining what the future plans/strategy are, looking back seems as though May usually brings us some form of update.. heres hoping its positive and not just the usual spin - rant over! | pistolpete100
25/4/2008 17:39 | Yes ... a big investment there! | benchmark
25/4/2008 17:26 | if your feeling lucky now could be the time for a punt - someone thought so late on today | pistolpete100
16/4/2008 12:43 | Ha ha ha, hee hee hee, I tied La-La to a tree. I shot Dipsy in the head, Sorry, La-La, Dipsy's dead. For my next trick, the Smurfs on acid. | arf dysg
15/4/2008 14:30 | KDR has found a micro diamond at Seitapera. Go looky looky lookitipop in the RNS aaah cuddly. Unfortunately the micro diamond has a mass of 0.000000000000000000 Luckily it is valued at 1,000,000,000,000,00 Unfortunately these are Zimbabwean dollars. | arf dysg
14/4/2008 16:22 | plenty of sells today - surprised the share price has held up, confidence is clearly pretty low | pistolpete100
14/4/2008 14:04 | If I were a director I would not look to post on any BB...If a shareholder wanted to converse with me, i'd expect them to contact me via more conventional methods - posting on a BB as a director is a bit....risky! Anyway, yes, I agree that some directors etc can purchase for a number of reasons, not all of which are in line with them thinking the company is about to "do some good things!.... Anyway, unless I saw them parting with substantial sums of cash, certainly more than £5-10k / less than say 0.5%, I pay their actions little heed here or in the wider market... This is certainly a hold or bust investment for me and as a tiny part of my portfolio im happy with and understand that. My break even is significantly higher than today's share price so from here, it would take quite a lot to make this punt worth while... | carl79
11/4/2008 20:56 | It is all "relative" at the end of the day, Carl. From personal (not good) experience, directors (and directors' WAGs, etc.) can and often do make purchases with one sole intention... as "visible proof" that management "appear to be confident..." in their own companies. They may even be prepared to lose many tens of £000s to effectively "buy time" whilst leaking [selling] stock into the marketplace via nominee/trust funds, etc.. This negative scenario may not be applicable with Sunrise (and I sincerely hope it ISN'T the case here!) but it's always worth bearing in mind, I think? Anyway CEO & colleagues could always post something here on the BBs to reassure long suffering holders!!!...? | markusantonius
11/4/2008 17:25 | Mark - it was rhetorical...i cant remember but was it a few grand?? just done the math: Between £4.4k and £4.5k | carl79
04/4/2008 14:57 | PJT, directors often buy (with hidden agendas). Yes, on paper, it appears a positive sign (and I hope you're right, of course!) but the volume was negligible to a man of such huge resources given what's at stake. Personally, I would be far more reassured in a positive RNS with clear plans for the future, incl. how best to turn diamonds into £! [Off Topic:] Arf, I tried Johnny's ['999'] link and it looks like just another super dooper American Forex trading system which may well make you profits - providing you do every rec. it generates - every trading opp. day and are prepared to absorb heavy losses en route...? Johhny - You could always start a new thread, if it's as good as you say? | markusantonius
04/4/2008 09:45 | Post 999 looks like spam to me. | arf dysg
03/4/2008 23:36 | First rise in 2 months thanks to Mr Herbert. Hope he or another director buy some more! | pjt105
03/4/2008 12:36 | Hmmm... Sunrise is the only bit of blue on my screen this morning :o) ... Red everywhere else! :o( Funny what difference a day can make, eh? | markusantonius
03/4/2008 09:42 | Oh, ho, ho, it's gone up again. These MMs aren't stupid. I nearly bought some yesterday. | arf dysg
02/4/2008 22:39 | Carl79, Did you calculate the answer to your question re: £equiv. 'Buy' values? | markusantonius
02/4/2008 15:45 | Managed to buy 75000 at 1.2p ... something to put in a cupboard for 10 years might be worth a lot might be worth not a lot .. directors buying hopefully an indication... | csboyd
02/4/2008 15:07 | Oh, ho, ho, I tried to buy £1,000 worth. No deal. £500-- no deal. At £200 they offered to let me buy for 1.175p, between 15,000 and 16,000 shares. That's odd: at higher prices than this I've bought much larger numbers of shares at one go. If people truly are selling, as the price drop might suggest, it ought to be easy to buy lots. Why do they use funny fractions of a penny? like 0.125 0.0625, 0.025 and so on. Don't they realise that the decimal system makes it so much simpler? First you use a single decimal place, then use two if absolutely necessary. End of tax year... could be lots of sells to realise losses. Now might be a good time to buy. | arf dysg
02/4/2008 15:07 | how much are the buys in £'sss - not broke the bank have they?? | carl79
31/3/2008 19:26 | yes for all the skepticism negativity around (myself included) the directors are still putting their money where their mouth is - Clearly confidence and expectation is still high within the boardroom. | pistolpete100
31/3/2008 15:40 | More director buying today. This is interesting. | arf dysg
28/3/2008 14:03 | I only have ADVFN and it seems the most recent sale was 1 million at 0.85p but there have been 3,000,000 traded today. | arf dysg |
