Someone give me a crumb of comfort. Family silver sold, yet debt still $74m. Only assets appear to be 8mmboe and $8m cash. (plus the pie in the sky ...)

Does anyone have a valuation figure for a proven North Sea barrel?

At the current rate of attrition of cash they will not last another quarter without the cap having to come out again.

Or have I got my rose tinted glasses back to front?

Hopefully, this is the first announcement in a line of deals to be made as this company attempts to re-invent itself. Oiljack on the IV Board reported the Jack Shaw is headed to Don Southwest and will go to W. Don from there to frill the 3rd well.

Bugle news should be close. Then we shall see what they sell and what they buy.

For - a junior that does nothing but lose money - this management has treated itself very well for the past 5 years. If - they can't figure out how to do the same for shareholders pretty soon ----it's time to start asking Sir Graham if he is paying attention.

Got filled on the Bid, the real winners are UK mm's though as 16.5 cents equates to around 10.75p. The day all UK stocks are sets the better for us small punters.

Put a limit order in at 16.5 cents for this afternoon, one I was lucky with last year.

Many thanks steelwatch for the chart.

I held these between May and June last year, nothing long term. I had to time my sale carefully because it only took my sell of 60,000 shares to knock the bid price down, so it was very difficult to get out of them.

"Bowmore - well suspended in August as a 'tight hole' for commercial reasons"

There may be communication?

Where is this Bugle North in relation to Stratic's block 15/23c. Is is mostly in Block 15/23d (and this doesn't belong to Stratic)?

drewz - Could be an issue with your browser. I have removed the above, but think it may be caused by the scrolling marquee banners. No-one else has mentioned a problem. Which browser do you use? I am viewing in IE8.

edit: just checked using Chrome and Safari. I think you will find the problem solved if you switch to IE. However, I will try over the weekend to come up with a solution without removing the banners altogether.

I take it there is no problem viewing this thread?

I think it's perhaps something to do with this line of text that stretches for miles across the page...
