The price is where it is for a reason chaps - and even if Tim pulled a viable project out of a hat it will be over five years and placing after placing before any returns are seen and even then we know from long experience that it simply isn't the way of this board to allow any of that value to make its way to shareholders. In fact most of it will be well and truly spent in advance, such is their "counting chickens" approach to business.

Interesting to see that Claire Bay promoted from office manager to "VP exploration and business development".

No doubt a just reward for protecting Directors interests.

Gentlemen

Has anyone noticed the similarity between the recent Dalafin JV with major IAMGOLD and the Oksut project that Stratex sold to Centerra Gold for $20m & retained a NSR. It seems almost identical by nature.

The recent placing was well supported by city folk impressed by the new CEO who has extensive contacts within the sector.

Legend investor Bob Morton took £150k, Turner Pope took their fees in shares & happy to be locked in 6 months.

Investment criteria changes. Stratex has proved to be disastrous for anyone buying over the last 18 months, they are a much changed company now.

This will become apparent in due course.

Tad has bigged this Company up on many different occasions, including the Crusader deal, until he changed his mind. He talked up Englebrecht after having met him at a mining seminar. He's been wrong on every count

But if there really was such fantastic potential here, you'd think that with the market cap as low as it is it would make sense to organise a management buyout and take it private to maximise returns.

The fact is this board just loves spending other people's cash but could never stomach risking its own.

Very interesting interview (ignoring his pumping of his own positions) but describes the shenanigans that occur on AIM re dodgy brokers/market makers.

Never a truer word spoken, I do hope the short positions have an exit strategy here, relying on another placing may be the wrong idea!

This stock is tightly held.

I've seen some bad management but I have to say Stratex is by far the worst I ever came across. Most bad boards are either incompetent or, let us say, 'wilfully careless' with how they choose to spend capital - Stratex are, in my opinion, both.
