you say "Exactly. The whole thing is corrupt." " the capitalist system should exist to serve society - not just those with the deepest pockets."

It is beginning to sound like you do not actually believe in a capitalist system.

You dont want people to sell their shares to others whom you may disagree with - or at least stop those you disagree with for then having a vote with those shares bought. (your post 1014)

So if I look at other posts you have made ..

On the LLOY board you say

"I am just making the point that the Tory ideology is a failure and it doesn't work for all cases and where it does work it works for the few and not the many."

Did you also attend the "Jezfest" or whatever they called it? Seems you are more bothered in the politics than the stock market.

Very interesting.

Hold and buy into any weakness.

Strong income play and strong growth play. Not many of those around.

"The choice of Mr Day, who runs Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group but has no public board experience, as a replacement to Mr Ferguson will also be scrutinised."

Absolutely. Shouldn't be allowed. What value has some cardigan seller got? We don't need his capital, capital is cheap and we can get it elsewhere. We don't need Woodford, Tinkler or Day.

If anything it proves greedy people want a piece of stobarts assets . Which says something about the assets. Wish I bought at sub £2.25 on the recent weakness

Believe it or not but the capitalist system should exist to serve society - not just those with the deepest pockets.

I have no position, but this is interesting. Yes, sometimes it is difficult to see who is right and who is wrong. Tinkler is definitely the dodgy one in my view, using emotive language and implying a conspiracy theory against his brilliance. Iain Ferguson on the other hand has a CBE and is on the Board of Personal Assets Trust plc. He wouldn't be taking such a position at this super careful investment trust if his INTEGRITY was not top-drawer. Woodford seems to be siding with the rogue, but he likes and appears to have a long record of being taken in by such sharp aggressive types.

Missed this when I quickly scanned through the RNS earlier:

"The Board and its brokers will work constructively with all shareholders going forward in order to develop the Company's share register to contain additional long-term shareholders who are excited by the value creation opportunity that the Company represents. It has already been contacted by one such party interested in making a significant investment in the Company"

Good to see the board taking decisive action.

Sounds like Tinkler is almost having some kind of breakdown, he's become so obsessed by greed and his own self interest that he's lost sight of the bigger picture.

Sooner this is sorted, the better.

Have you all read Share Prophets today and the legal letter. Tinkler sounds awful. Iain Ferguson has impeccable credentials, does he not? Bit of a negative for Woodford and Cenkos who are both backing the seemedly wrongdoer. What a public spat!

Don't be misled by any short term share price weakness. Tinkler's and Woodford's shares may create a temporary overhang, but the market should like this news, so net effect medium term should be positive.

Investors have been waiting on the side line to review the board shenanigans and Tinkler going will settle some nerves. This will start moving back to 300p and with the RyanAir deal announced yesterday, this may even start to set a new high.

£3 revisited would equal 52 week high, reached last Sept.

Can't see that anytime soon, but this morning's news is certainly a step in the right direction. Need to sort out their boardroom tussles first.
