17/8/2015 13:09 | which space ? | neilyb675
17/8/2015 13:04 | Watch this space? | bernie37
17/8/2015 11:00 | Just watched Nick 'The Moose' Batsford on TipTV interviewing Ben Harrington a market takeover investigative journalist saying that he was hearing rumours about Stobart but he did not have any further information. Can anybody throw any light on this? | bartle
11/8/2015 17:49 | You're right, I was looking purely at their activity groups not their investment arm, thanks for clarification... | diesel
11/8/2015 17:06 | Diesel I'm not sure how still owning 49% of Eddie Stobart logistics can be classed as having nothing to do with it. As for separate entity again the holding is treated as an associate for accounting purposes and our share of profits is, afaik, included within investment income in the P & l. | bagpuss lives
11/8/2015 15:37 | Re previous post, Eddie Stobart logistics has nothing to do with the Stobart group, separate entity. | diesel
17/7/2015 10:40 | Its about time we had some positive news to get it moving solidly north - its been rather quiet lately. For a morsel of news posted a week ago, see: | mazarin
13/6/2015 15:18 | Voted all resolutions FOR (including the 4p final div). GLA | neilyb675
05/6/2015 12:24 | Good dividend, though not well covered, low forward PEG, based on anticipated growth, and fundamentally an economic recovery should benefit the company through demand for more and more deliveries. Technically the price looks ready to move quite sharply, and my bet is up, as I'm about to buy in. | andrewbaker
01/6/2015 10:02 | See we had a large buy above the ask after hours on Friday,,,,,,,and looking good this morning :-) | cheshire man
27/5/2015 20:55 | Thanks Neily, as for going Ex Div tomorrow, I've always accepted that 'there's no such thing as a free lunch'. Either way, I'm in and will see how it pans out in the next few months at least. | mazarin
27/5/2015 13:41 | upside: Ex-Div tomorrow for 4p, so instant pay day due 3/7/15 Diverse business with lots of contracts coming for Biomass business in particular Great brand that is well known NAV as reported in IC recently of 124p downside: Ex div tomorrow, so price will likely lose 4p | neilyb675
27/5/2015 13:25 | Considering buying into STOB and would be interested to know from long-term holders, what's their take on upside -v- downside? Looking at earlier posts, opinions look a bit mixed. | mazarin
15/5/2015 14:30 | Today's RNS opens with: "Stobart Group is an entrepreneurial company applying its recognised logistics and customer service expertise to create: -- The UK's number one supplier of waste wood biomass fuel to renewable energy plants -- A major new London Airport in Southend -- A leading civil engineering provider to Network Rail -- A diverse portfolio of investments and infrastructure and property assets" - it's good to see they rate themselves as 'entrepreneurial'. there's lots out there that would never admit to such a thing! | exel
14/5/2015 08:23 | I agree battlebus2. They are still in their reorientation phase, but gearing is low and medium term prospects are high. Moreover, the share buyback and a maintained total divi of 6p makes 70p difficult to see. | ridicule
14/3/2015 19:06 | I don't see these falling anywhere near 70p. Edison had a note out this week with p/e falling to 8 in 2017. | battlebus2
14/3/2015 19:01 | Bought these at 95 sold at 140,will buy back on the slide to the mid 70 range | bernie37
14/3/2015 18:54 | I see this heading back to the mid 70 range sort term | bernie37
14/3/2015 18:33 | Better options elsewhere, simple as e.g. Wincanton or Dart or Royal Mail for that matter. Governance is key and this lot has a lot to learn still. | kangaroo joe
14/3/2015 17:35 | Is this heading to 95p?....and if it doesn't hold then a revisit to 78 - 80p... | diku
13/3/2015 17:09 | Sold out today, good luck to those remaining holders. Took a small loss but then again i did get a dividend. | battlebus2
12/3/2015 11:23 | Just bought but shown as a sell - this happens too often | shepc
10/3/2015 20:34 | If its tinkler then it will have to be rns'd | neilyb675
10/3/2015 20:33 | Dated 6th March.....price was higher then, think it is a sell. | neilyb675 |
