Stobart was notified on 3 March 2015 by Andrew Tinkler, a Director of the Company, that on 3 March 2015 WA Developments International Limited, a company in which he owns 100% of the share capital, sold 2,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 106 pence per share. Following the transaction his total beneficial holding of ordinary shares in the Company, is 29,301,750 shares representing 8.93% of its issued capital (excluding treasury shares).

I quite expected to see a 4 or 5% rise after todays news.

Seems like they are doing what they planned to do.

The div looks solid at 6p for the year, part funded by disposals.

"Dividends are expected to be maintained at the current level in the foreseeable future and, in the short term, partly funded out of proceeds from disposals of property assets.

Stobart Group has also employed a share buyback scheme/dividend reinvestment programme (drip) as part of the recent partial disposal of the T&D Division (Eddie Stobart) - which also allowed the company to substantially repay debt, and address investment opportunities in its growth divisions."

treenie, STOB is more or less out of the ransport business - this is not a significant part of it, certainly not significant for fuel to have any big impact.

With lower fuel costs and continued growth across the group companies I think the share price is too low at present and will be buying more in the expectation of a decent run up to and after the next set of results.
