McDade is a serial destroyer of shareholder value and incompetent.

All they will try to do is get some money out of Genel for the well that is owed. Genel can't leave the block without settling the well obligation. So they will pay up to leave and the block will be handled back. Sey will get $4m - $6m and that will be that. You need an asset to maintain a listing after 6 months so the pressure will be on to do something. McDade will look to acquire something the size of Tullow through leveraged and vendor finance- bit like Serica did - limited equity issued - and not around here.

roks. My bet is you will do very well, that's a low average. I'm a bit higher than that. Some people (including notifiable holders) will be way, way over that. (Edited).

Been holding these since 2006, put them in the "bottom drawer". Bought 2 x my original holding this morning so average has dropped significantly. Not in the habit of trying to catching falling knives and averaging down but made an exception in this case. Plenty of cash sitting in the till and no debt (at the moment). The cash sitting on the balance sheet means little risk of downside. We shall see. Thanks BTC

The Company understands that a number of institutional and high net worth investors have agreed to purchase the shares being sold by Waterford and Mistyvale. Following the sale, neither Waterford nor Mistyvale will hold any interest in any ordinary shares in the Company. The company understands that the mm's will take on the stock & dump it into pi's hands over the coming months! Why not state who has picked em up that's a huge chunk....not sure!

The Company also confirm that it has provisionally agreed to appoint Paul McDade, the former CEO of Tullow Oil plc, and Ian Cloke, the former EVP at Tullow Oil plc, as executive directors of the Company. Paul and Ian have extensive experience and knowledge of identifying and developing oil and gas assets in West Africa and intend to refocus the Company's strategy on producing assets in this region. This will be at least a 20 bagger with Mr Mcdade at the helm.

I've been watching this for ages, but without any clue about their plan, and taking an age to get anything done, I didn't invest here. I'm still watching cos we still have no clue.

Interesting move, institutional shareholders flogging off their large holdings to "high net worth" investors, and appointing two new directors. Presumably they have a plan, and the choice was take our money or no deal. Oil is now rebounding, despite the Biden green deal, and money is going back into black gold.

Wakey wakey! Your deal has finally arrived. That explains the sudden rise of the last couple of days. Tomorrow will be an interesting day in the market and might be your lucky day as well. I held these many years ago and did rather well out of them. Back on the watch list they go.

Finkie,This is a lifestyle management company for the bosses, running of the legacy cashpile and interest generated. Why run an oil company (with all the risks attached) when you don't have to?Cash
