11/9/2015 06:52 | H1 mixed results; but better things to come H2. | azalea
02/9/2015 06:13 | Never mind yesterday's, today's rns announcing Consilium Inv Man taking a 5.08% stake is excellent news. By my reckoning that takes collective major holdings to 76%. The timing is interesting -ahead of the Interims this month. | azalea
01/9/2015 21:46 | todays RNS .. cost-saving or placing imminent? | mattjos
20/8/2015 14:11 | FWIW Extracts) FTSE 250 KAZ Minerals PLC. (+11% 174p); reported today a swing to a small Ptx profit for HI 2015. In H1 2014, the company booked a USD 180M loss on currency exchange. This was not repeated in H1 2015. It reported that the devaluation of the Tenge would drive down costs at its operations. The recent devaluation in the Chinese Yuan and the decline in the Russian currency are also significant to KAZ as both are major trading partners. Kazakhstan's Central bank stated today it would allow its currency to float freely. | azalea
20/8/2015 12:18 | 23% Devaluation of the Kaz Tenge v the USD today. Their debt is in USD and revenues in local Tenge is it not? | mattjos
04/8/2015 13:40 | Lets see what the Interims tell us. | azalea
04/8/2015 12:59 | I enjoy your posts Azalea and you certainly bang the drum for STCM. While the share price performance has been dire, STCM does at least pay a divi and if this can maintained it has to be one of the best value stocks on AIM. | mach100
03/8/2015 06:16 | Looks like the company is beefing up its BoD. Interesting. | azalea
22/7/2015 15:10 | Hari, given that you do not hold and will not buy, you have no reason to worry. That said, since Mar 2014 Amzi Wan Hamzah bought over 4m shares at well above the 3Op mark and now hold 59,185,906-27.03%,wh | azalea
22/7/2015 10:14 | Hi Azalea, I'm grateful for your input on this quiet board. I've made a small chunk on STCM in the past and try to follow developments. it's one of the few aim/foreign shares I'd be willing to hold long term but I'm not keen to buy at the moment. If macro conditions change or if it gets cheaper after the recent updates, I'll be taking more interest. | jhan66
22/7/2015 08:26 | I'm interested! Not currently invested but still follow closely. | davydoo
22/7/2015 07:57 | Keeps talking it up..it keeps falling. Hope peeps have the sense not to listen to you when it was 30p. no-one is interested...do you see anyone else here | hari
20/7/2015 12:50 | Whoever jumped in today for 29k @ 22p, will like my recent buy of 12k, will be showing a handsome profit by the time FY results are announced, Every year that passes, having replaced 330 of its old rolling stock with new ones( built to last 30 years),it will save US$3m in maintenance costs. | azalea
17/7/2015 10:55 | I have added today, with the share price at a 5 year low. Even if only a 1p div is paid in 2015 & 2016(brokers Westhouse Securities, forecasts 4.73p and 6.33p respectively), it will equal a tax free return for me of over 4%. | azalea
14/7/2015 09:37 | A most encouraging update.Estimates national consumption to rise yet again, from 8.5m to 9.5m tons(a record in recent years).Forecasting a recovery in its market share, achieving higher production and selling prices. FY results will see the share price rise from this very low level of 23/24p. Brokers forecast 2015 NAV 47.9p,2016 51p. PE 5.18. 3.87.(2015, 2016 respectively. | azalea
26/5/2015 13:07 | The Annual Report indicates that FY 2015 & 2016 will be a much better years as costs savings from having mothballed the four wet lines and increasing production from the far more effcient dry lines 5 & 6. The purchase of the 330 72 ton capacity rail wagons are clearly adding to the overall savings by reducing rental and maintenance costs. So much so, that plans are afoot to purchase up to a further 100 wagons. | azalea
18/5/2015 16:29 | 400K bought @ 24p early pm. | azalea
18/5/2015 13:45 | Yes Azalea. must be one of the lowest p/e and discount to NAV on AIM. Sp is in the doldrums but the metrics are compelling. | mach100
18/5/2015 10:15 | MORNINGSTAR has now posted broker's Westhouse Securities latest forecast dated 7/1/2015(post 2014 January-Dec results) for FY 2015 and 2016. 2015 is maintained @ Ptx £12.85m, Eps 4.73p Div 3.01p 2016 is increased @ Ptx £17.27m Eps 6.33p Div 3.52p The PE is 5.18 and 3.87 respectively. NAV 47.90p and 51.03p respectively Despite the notable potential shown in the 2014 results, a lower forecast for this year might have been expected. Instead, not only has it been maintained, but the FY2016 forecast is showing a further strong increase across the board. If anything like these numbers are achieved, then without doubt the share price at the current level will undoubtedly prove extremely cheap. | azalea
15/5/2015 07:59 | Given today's FY results, I believe the share price is now at its low, with significant improvements in production costs and volumes from Dry Lines 5 & 6. Employment numbers significantly reduced, purchase of 300 new railway wagons cutting rental costs by a third. Wagons will be cash positive by FY 2017. Holding fast. | azalea
06/5/2015 16:22 | x2 150k buys @ 27p, ahead of prelims 11/5. | azalea
27/4/2015 08:09 | IF he is, not in a declarable amount. Yes, with a 27% stake and an share price well below NAV, a bid is a constant possibility. The company has been highlighted more than once regarding broker's large dividend forecast for the current year. 2015 Prelims next month could give us a steer on progress concerning cost savings, output and efficiencies. However,I feeling that H1 results will give us an even better indication. One for the patient. | azalea
26/4/2015 17:33 | Is the Malaysian still buying Azalea? This is ridiculously cheap considering the yield and possible buy-out. | mach100
26/4/2015 15:59 | With a 90% turnout in the national election, the incumbent president looks like retaining office. 858 observers, (including international ones), reported no violations being observed. The president said, he would form a committee to promote further progress in the country's economic development. | azalea
14/4/2015 08:24 | Overall production costs and savings from new rail wagons are key. Market demand remains strong. | azalea |
